Does Jenna actually ever find out that Garrett hit the tree and not Alison's head? I can't remember if they actually address this or if the show just goes on until Season 5 with Jenna still thinking Garrett killed Alison.
Yeah Veronica and Kenneth were really the true outliers and victims of the whole messed up thing lol. Of course now we know it was Ted which I feel was a cop-out but it makes sense that Kenneth was only Alison's father and just got roped into this mayhem of incest. He always seemed too cool and detached for all of this. Same with Veronica. She was only Melissa's mother and just got roped into everything.

Kind of just rewatched the entire show for the fifth time (Took about two weeks)
Alright:
So it can be assumed that Wilden snuck onto the Halloween Train to kill Garrett as an act of self-preservation. But why:
1. Was Aria put in a box with the body?
2. Was Melissa blackmailed by him into being a part of it at all?
Yeah, I'm under the impression Alex got Wren to do the phone stunt.
I always loved Jessica's character. I'm not sure if it's Andrea Parker (who is an incredible actress) or just the character in general (because I love Mary, too). She was even more mysterious than Ali, and Andrea played her perfectly. So it's probably both, just like Troian/Spencer, Janel/Mona, and Sasha/Alison, my favorite characters because their actresses make them what they are.
I longed for a reunion between Ali And Jessica. I could come to terms with her death if she could have at least saw her daughter again. But I know that's partially why they killed her off, so they wouldn't have that. It's also funny, as I'm rewatching, I noticed that "agreement" Jessica and Peter were talking about, and in my head I'm thinking: "Which fucking agreement?" The one where I slept with you, the one where I slept with your sister, the one where I slept with your sister again, or the one where we have a plan to kill your sister with my medication?."
Agree 100%, the personal connection thing was a fun catch, and I really enjoyed observing the depth of her relationships with them. She was a lil loony too, which was fun to watch.
Thanks for sharing your opinion. I think the affairs and secrets, even though they are tragic, made Jessica who she is. it goes to show where Alison got her secrecy from. I'm glad I'm not the only one that thinks that Jessica is just a cool cat. She deserved to be re-united with her daughter. I wish they would've revelead for about her lair in the storm cellar. I mean, I know the only thing we were supposed to take away from that is that Jessica knew Alison escaped the grave and felt bad for choosing Charlotte over her, and made an effort to find her. But I'm torn as to how she established this whole research safe house to find her daughter, but when questioned by the cops in 4B, she was adamant to express her confidence of her belief that Alison was truly dead, fearful that the cops will discover what her and Charlotte did "that night".
I'm kinda mad they shoved Marco off as soon as they did. I liked the fact that he was starting to derail mentally a little bit. That scene where he folloed Spencer home in the squad car gave me some serious creepy Wilden vibes, and I woulda liked to see him become more of a villain. Granted, they did need to close up the show because they were running out of screen time, but that would've been something I would have really liked to see.
I kinda was just rewatching the show and wanted to express some thoughts I had on Jessica DiLaurentis. The show made her out to be a REALLY bad person. Plotting with Peter to kill Mary, choosing Charlotte over Alison, cheating on Kenneth multiple times. But I like Mrs. D. She's one of my favorite characters, as are most of the DiLaurentis'. Yes, she's a little loony. But she was always so sweet and nice to the girls. She offered her home as a safe haven more than once, and just seemed to have a person connection with all of the girls, unlike the other Moms. She had a distinct special relationship with all four of the liars. She just came off to me as really sweet and having posession of a big kind genuine heart. It was so tragic and heartbreaking when she died. Not only because she died, but because she and Alison never got to be re-united. She was teased of her daughter's existence and then...as the after-party memorium said: "Death by Twisted Sister.". Yes, there was a lot of sketchiness between her, the Hastings, and Peter's 12 million family tree's, but it was a good way to see where Alison got some of her badassery from. Anyway, I guess I'm trying to say that I still really haven't come to terms with this particular TV death, especially seeing as Ali never got to see her again, Jason having to see the body in the backyard, and Charlotte being emotionally torn becuase Jessica was the only person who ever loved her. It just didn't seem fair. I love how they wrote Andrea Parker back on as Mary Drake. It was a great way to get a little bit of her spirit back and she even showed up in flashback's, but she was such a genuine character and it never felt the same. What does everybody else think? I'm interested in hearing other opinions.
Yes!
This is true!!!!
So, this is more a callout to the mods: Since the show has concluded I think we should start running through everything with a fine comb and updating the pages to match end of show information, etc. This post is a substitute for me posting on a moderator's wall because I honestly didn't feel like scavenging through posts till I found one, and I can't recall any of ya'll names. The main page for the wiki has the following excerpt:
"Pretty Little Liars is a series of young adult novels by Sara Shepard and a TV series currently airing on Freeform since 2010."
I was wondering if we could change this excerpt to:
"Pretty Little Liars is a series of young adult novels by Sara Shepard and a TV series that aired on Freeform from 2010-2017."'
let me know what you think, thanks.
That's true, but it struck me odd that there was no mention to Hanna HOW he escaped. Like if he overpowered her, or she left him unattended. But the entire time from 7A to 7B I always kinda thought she cut him loose like she was in on it or something. Maybe Mona was being blackmailed by A.D. ever since that episode and not just recently like towards the end. Would make sense that Alex recruited Noel, he was helping Charlotte in dollhouse. That would also explain Mona's persona shift in 7B
I've always wished Mona could have been part of the group! As much as she screwed them over, her love for the liars was unconditional, and in the end their safety was really in her best interest. She double crossed A.D. most recently, and along with a bunch of other things. Mona's persona in 6B 7A was my personal favorite, she was cunning and intelligent,. It broke my heart to see that The Liars didn't accept her during that time period. She was shunned when she showed up to Hanna's party with the gift. She was verbally attacked by Spencer after leaking the report to save Veronica. She even killed Charlotte to keep them safe! Yes, Mona was partially motived to kill Charlotte due to the fact she was jealous of Charlotte for stealing the game from her. But ultimately she killed Charlotte to protect them, so that she wouldn't harm them or her again. I really wished her ending persona would be similar to the way she acted in 6B/7A, and that she would finally be accepted by the rest of The Liars, perhaps even had an inclusion in the goodbye scene. I felt that although the dollhouse scene was evil and cute, that she really took an unnecessary turn towards insanity in the last few episodes. I mean, she even agreed to help Hanna conceal Noel and help with her Vigilante type plan. (Although it always confused me how Noel escaped Mona's custody)
Ooooh that's interesting, but their only real semi-friendly connection was through the anti-Alison army.
I agree, I really liked the time jump Mona, cunning and intelligent. It was cute, but I would've enjyoed it as a dream sequence, the show is good at those already.
I loved that elevator scene. Mona in 6B was my favorite version of Mona, and I really wish they would've ended her off like that, instead of slightly falling into insanity like that. I surrendered my heart when I saw her walking away with the dice keychain in the loft episode.
I really enjoy it :)
I'm a 16 year old young man. I started watching the show the summer of 6A. I binged the whole thing and got caught up the night of 6x08, then watched said episode on cable that evening. I watched the show every Tuesday on cable up until it ended. I've rewatched all of the seasons at least 4 times.
I do agree with you, the retracting the testimony was pretty selfish, but we all knew that Lucas wasn't the strongest person. He was probably spooked and felt the need to defend himself, caving to fear.
