Elodie Honrada is a main character in the television series, Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin on Max. She is portrayed by Lea Salonga and Emily Bautista.

Elodie is the mother of Minnie. A bit overbearing, Elodie works overtime to keep her daughter safe following a trauma that occurred when Minnie was just a little girl. As a teenager, Elodie was part of a gang led by Davie Adams.

Biography[]

Elodie was born and raised in Millwood, Pennsylvania. She was a popular and beautiful teenager who hung out with the coolest girls in school, including Davie Adams, Corey Bryant, Marjorie Olivar, and Sidney Haworthe. They "adopted" the town outcast Angela Waters into their friend group, turning her from a loser to a popular girl.

Personality[]

In 1999 as high school senior, like her best friends, she was "bully" who tormented the outcasts and marginalized people, without knowing the serious damage she was doing.

After Angela's suicide, she was traumatized and realizing the wrong she did.

As an adulr, she has changed, leaving her mean girl attitudes behind in the past. Now, much of Elodie's personality is reflective of Mouse's near-abduction at the age of five. The close call, at the hands of Mouse's biological father, put Elodie in a state of hyper-vigilance and constant anxiety when Mouse isn't near her.

Physical Appearance[]

Elodie is an adult woman with Asian ethnicity. She has short black hair and dark brown eyes.

1999[]

In October 31, 1999, The group of girls run amok and destroy pumpkins for Halloween. In front of a house, Angela Waters is handed a bag of dog feces and instructed to throw it at the front door, part of so-called “initiation”. She’s concerned about being seen, but Davie Adams assures her they got her back as she is handed a pumpkin to put over her head as a disguise. The girls laugh at her weak refusal. Nonetheless, Angela forces herself to do as she’s told, but the girls drive off and mockingly wave goodbye. Angela is left at the curbside breathing hard as the owner of the vandalized house yells out to the assailant.

Elodie and Angela enter the Hall of Mirrors, hand in hand. The pair stops, with Elodie telling Angela they're alone. They start kissing until Davie then walks in and, as a way to divert from Elodie's feelings for Angela, Elodie lies and says that Angela started attacking her. Davie snaps that Angela shouldn't think about coming onto her. She proceeds to call Angela, Xena. Elodie and Davie then leave, with Angela staring at one of the mirrors.

OS101 SC203

On Y2K night, a tear-stricken Angela calls out for Sidney Haworthe and Davie Adams outside a warehouse currently blasting with music for the Y2K celebration. Angela Waters stumbles inside, begging for help to no one’s bother. She finds Sidney and drops to her knees in the middle of the crowd. Through her sobs, she begs Sidney to look at her. Elodie also turns her back to Angela. Davie, however, angrily mutters to Sidney that they’ve talked about this already, forcing a conflicted Sidney to join her other friends. Devastated, Angela looks around in pain and notices a ladder nearby. She decided to climb. The rave continues in full swing, and as the countdown begins partygoers suddenly take notice of a silhouette up above. The DJ cuts the music, allowing Angela to scream out to the girls below if they finally see her. Davie yells at her to stop, but Angela raised her arms and steps forward. The crowds disperse with screams of terror, though only five girls stay still. They force themselves to look upon the bloody, gruesome scene before them; Angela’s broken, dead body.[2]

Elodie and her friends head to Pinball Pizza after the dance. Sidney bemoans how Angela was in trouble and they ignored her. Davie assures her it wasn’t her fault - Angela was a messed-up girl. Elodie is shocked that everyone left quickly, though Corey snaps what else they were supposed to do. Marjorie asks if they should call an ambulance, but Davie reiterates it is not their fault and someone will find Angela. Sidney probes what happens they if do.[3]

2022[]

Elodie checks on her teen daughter Mouse and finds her chatting with a boy from school on Discord. Elodie doesn’t like seeing her spend so much time online and warns her there are bad people online, though Mouse is too overjoyed to ponder her mother’s words.[2]

OS103 Elodie Still

A few days later, Mouse comes home to her moms who reprimand her for responding to their urgent call with a text. Elodie asks why the school thinks she put a dead rat in another girl's bag.[4] As punishment for getting into such trouble at school, including her involvement in leaking a scathing video of Karen Beasley, Elodie confiscates all of Mouse's electronics.

The next morning, the mothers gather at the Adams house, where Corey sarcastically starts the table talk with no one will win the mother of the year award. Marjorie jokes the situation is dire if the great Corey Bryant comes back to town. Elodie remarks that being in Davie’s house feels wrong, and it is too big of a coincidence their daughters are all involved. Corey is unsurprised as the town and school are small, but agrees they need to support their children through the disciplinary meeting. Sidney adds that the boy, Tyler, should be held accountable and she has his phone. She and Corey discuss logistics on how to approach the principal and sheriff.

The hearing to determine Mouse and her friends hearing happens on Friday. The girls and their respective guardians gather in a classroom, Corey advising them to keep quiet and let her do the talking. Principal Clanton arrives, announcing the disciplinary hearing was postponed. He says Kelly Beasley came to him to admit Karen was in the rafters with the intent to harm Imogen and provided evidence. Imogen asks if it was the bucket put the principal refuses to say. He declares the death to be accidental. Sidney asks what it means for their daughters. Principal Clanton says expulsion is no longer an option, but other options are still on in the table.

The relieved mothers dine in joy, happy to accept community service or detention as the verdict and look at their daughters’ table, calling them good girls while remarking they’re sitting at their old booth. Sidney reveals to the women that Imogen said Davie received a flyer of the party in the mail, and that the girls know about Angela. They are shocked, but Sidney assures them she told what everyone assumes to be the truth. The women are once again alleviated but wonder who sent Davie the flyer. Corey believes the incident to be a one-time thing.

Back at the Honrada house, Mouse collapses in her bed, tired. Elodie knocks at her open door, delving some of her electronics and reminding her she’ll get them all back once detention is over. She explains to her daughter she can’t go through all that again, and Mouse assures her she won’t.[3]

Things settle in the Honrada household. The evening before Halloween, Mouse unexpectedly declares her date at the dinner table. Elodie asks who Ash is and when the party is. She gives her permission but sets her curfew at 9:30. Shirley, however raises it to 10:30 PM.[5] As punishment for releasing Karen's video and getting in trouble at school, Elodie confiscates all of Mouse's electronics.
