In It Happened 'That Night', five months have passed since Aria, Emily, Hanna and Spencer found out about Mona being "A" and Maya's death. The girls are having a sleepover and discussing their summer plans: Aria has been taking photography classes; Spencer has been taking a full course load at Hollis; Hanna has been expanding her vocabulary and taking cooking classes with Caleb; and Emily has been constructing houses in Haiti. Emily has clearly not been taking Maya's death well, excessively drinking, and snapping at her friends when they try to take away the bottle from her.

Later, Aria and Hanna wake up to find Spencer and Emily missing and the door left wide open. Then, Spencer returns, saying she's looked everywhere for Emily. Hanna tries to call Emily.

They find her standing over Alison's grave, holding a shovel. The grave has been dug up, and Alison's body is missing from the casket. The other girls join Emily at the graveyard. A dazed Emily doesn’t remember a thing after getting so wasted at the sleepover. Spencer goes through Emily's phone and finds out that Emily had received a blocked call from somebody at 11pm, and from Spencer's phone at midnight, meaning someone was in Spencer's house, while they were all sleeping. That means it’s a setup for Emily to take the fall.

The girls decide to cover for Emily, so Hanna and Aria wipe any fingerprints off the shovel and bury it in the middle of the woods. On the way back to Spencer's house, they see Lucas drive off in the middle of the night. At Spencer's house, Spencer burns the clothes Emily was wearing so that there is no evidence against her. She then leaves a note to her mom saying they were at the lakehouse since that afternoon, providing them a solid alibi.

The next day, at the lakehouse, Spencer receives a call from her mother, stating that there were no witnesses, and relief spreads across the girls. Emily feels guilty, but the others comfort her saying that it was not her fault. They get their stories straight, and make a decision to pretend like last night never happened.

Later, Hanna and her mother are shopping, along with Spencer and her mother. When Hanna pulls Spencer away, they notice some people gossiping about them. Hanna tells them if they take a picture, it'll last longer and the women disappear, still whispering to each other. Spencer asks Hanna to go to a movie with her, but Hanna says she has to see Dr. Sullivan. Spencer is surprised to hear this and immediately worries that Hanna would tell her about last night. Hanna assures her that she wouldn't do that to Emily, or the rest of the girls since they were all there. When Ashley say it's time to go, Hanna almost leaves with a necklace from the store, but puts it back. Clearly, she has come a long way since her shoplifting days.

We then see Hanna going to visit Mona under the name "Rivers." So, she lied about seeing Dr. Sullivan. Apparently, Hanna has been doing this for weeks now. She tries to talk to Mona, but Mona does not acknowledge her presence. Hanna gets fed up and tells her that it's not easy for her to visit her. She is doing it because she wants to know what she ever did to make Mona hate her so much.

Just as she leaves the room, she runs into Wren, who is surprised to see her. She immediately asks him not to tell anyone about seeing her. She tells him that she has been visiting because she really needs some answers from Mona, but it's starting to prove futile.

During senior registration, Hanna and Caleb make plans to make dinner together later. Then Aria, Spencer and Hanna notice Lucas talking to a skinny brunette who resembles the Black Swan. It seems that he suddenly began shutting everyone out after the masquerade ball and turned "dark."

While Aria’s in the restroom, she sees a hooded figure in black sneakers outside her stall. Spencer and Hanna hear Aria’s screams and try to reassure their friend that Mona, a.k.a. "A," is practically in a coma at Radley Sanitarium and not coming after her. Aside from nightmares, Aria has also been having panic attacks. Hanna uses the word 'jubilation' and it actually helps to cheer Aria up a little bit.

While cooking dinner with Caleb, Hanna receives a call from Wren, who informs her that Mona may be making progress as a result of her visits. He encourages her to come back to the Radley. Hanna pretends she is talking to Spencer.

Later, the girls called to the police station. They are questioned by the police separately and all tell the same story about catching up at Spencer's lake house. Noticeably, Emily is missing.

Hanna pays another visit to Mona at the Radley. She tells Mona she will keep coming to visit if she gives her any indication the visits are helping. Mona turns her head and smiles. Hanna thinks she may have gotten through to her, until she notices Mona was actually smiling at the empty chair behind her.

At Spencer's, the girls have been swimming and worrying about Emily all day. Emily promises she stuck to the story when the cops questioned her, then tells them about the car. She determined that her subconscious may be blocking memories of the that night and anything could trigger it at any time. She shows them the text. Hanna insists it can't be Mona who sent the text and proves it by telling them about her visits to the Radley. Spencer then reveals a secret of her own.

Spencer takes the other girls to the Lost Woods Resort. She shows them the 3-D diagram she created on her computer in an attempt to recreate the lair as was before it was emptied. The girls admit that they lied to Emily. The day after Maya's body was found, the other girls returned to the Lost Woods to destroy the evidence which would get themselves and their loved ones in a lot of trouble, but the room had already been emptied. They discuss the likelihood that Mona had been working with someone else, who could have given Emily the massage and helped move Ian's body from the bell tower. Spencer believes this person to be the Black Swan, who must have been guilty of something or she would have no reason to run.

Just then, the Liars hear Spencer’s car alarm go off, prompting them to go outside, leaving Spencer's laptop alone in the room. The doors are wide open, and the seats and dash and trunk are covered in photographs of the girls at the cemetery in front of Ali’s open grave. The girls then receive a simultaneous text message : “Mona played with dolls. I play with body parts. Game on, bitches. –A."

In Blood Is The New Black, at school, Hanna is walking in the hallway when she sees Emily, Spencer and Aria run out of class. They follow Emily into the girls bathroom where she hands them the necklace with teeth on it and they think it Ali's teeth. Hanna says it's real teeth which Spencer asks how she knows this and Hanna says it's because she worked at a dentist office.

Just then they hear noises from outside so the four of them all run into one stall. Emily says she is sorry again for getting them into this mess but Hanna and Spencer assure her that they'll always have their backs and it's no ones fault. Spencer says that she'll keep the necklace in her locker but Hanna says their lockers are never going to be safe from "A." Aria takes the necklace and says that they should fess up to the police and their parents but they cant do that because they already lied and they burned the photos that "A" sent them. Hanna and Aria fight over the necklace but they drop it in the toilet. Spencer says she'll get it but Aria says to be careful because the bathrooms have senors. Spencer reaches into it but the bell rings making the toilet flush and the necklace is gone.

In the courtyard, Hanna, Spencer, Emily and Aria discuss this "New A." They agree that they need answers and that there is only one way to get them. Spencer sees Garret and Hanna goes back to see Mona. Hanna jokes by saying that they flipped on her for seeing her in the first place but now they want her to go back there. Aria says that Spencer was right when she said that Mona has never been working alone and there is more people involved. Hanna then says that she'll go back to see her after school.

Hanna goes to see Caleb in a classroom where he is working on something for the school. She jokes by saying the school should be paying him for what he is doing. Hanna lies to him and says she has to go to an appointment and asks if they can have a rain check on their dinner date. Caleb gives her a look and knows something is up but doesn't ask about it and says sure they can re-schedule. Hanna gives him a kiss and says she'll see him later.

At Radley, Hanna is visiting Mona. Hanna talks to her about the latest gossip at school with people like Bridget Wu and a some other people. Hanna asks her is Noel has come by to see her or even tried to talk to her but Mona doesn't say anything. Hanna then loses it and says that she owes her one because Mona could be in jail right now for trying to kill her but Hanna lets her stay here. Hanna then tells Mona that she has made her life a living nightmare and throws a chair against a wall. Wren then comes in and wants to know what is wrong but tells Hanna that the visit is over. Hanna then leaves the room but tells Mona that she is not the first person to hurt her, but she is not that last either.

Still at Radley, Wren gives Hanna a cup of coffee and tells her that Mona should be in a worse place then this for what she did to her and her friends. Hanna tells Wren that she is tired of losing people in her life and Wren confesses a secret of his own, he says that he has done a lot worse. He threw a bowl of soup across a room because his dad wasn't seeing him. Hanna is surprised to hear that his dad is a place like Radley. Wren gives Hanna some advice on how to handle everything and he tells her that she is having an "ambiguous loss.""

At Hanna's house, Hanna is on the phone with Aria who wants to know when she is going back to see Mona. Just then Caleb comes over for their dinner date and Hanna hangs up on Aria. He explains to her that the food place gave him the wrong meal but Hanna says it's alright while looking at the clock. He asks if she has somewhere to be but she says no.

During their date, Hanna is still looking at the clock and Caleb confronts her on it. Hanna confesses that she wants to go see Mona because she wants answers, but not informing him that she has already gone to see her before. Hanna also tells him that she is having an ambiguous loss, and Caleb wants to know where she has heard that before. Hanna keeps on pilling lies up and says she got it form the internet. Caleb then tells her that it's too late to go tonight so they'll go tomorrow to see her. Hanna is surprised that he would want to go and asks him why. Caleb then says that he loves her and doesn't want them sneaking around each other.

At Radley, Hanna and Caleb talk before she goes in. Hanna says that she'll be quick and Caleb takes her hand and says that he'll be right here on this bench is she needs anything. Hanna goes in and talks to Mona again. Hanna brings a make-up bag wanting to do Mona's make-up like Mona did for Hanna after her car crash. Hanna tries to talk to Mona again, but Mona still doesn't say anything. But Hanna says that she is not here to play beauty shop, she wants answers. Hanna is about to leave when Mona says something, "You're getting them again aren't you?" Hanna knows that she means the texts and wants more information. But Caleb comes in and says that visiting hours are over. Hanna says that this conversation isn't over and leaves with Caleb.

Hanna meets up with Spencer, Emily and Aria in the bathroom. Spencer tells them the information Toby told her, and says that he thinks Jenna can see. The girls are shocked to hear this and Aria wants to know what Mona said. Hanna tells them what Mona said and Spencer, Emily and Aria tell Hanna that she should go back there but Hanna says it's not that easy because Caleb is all over her. As they are about to leave, Spencer sees Jenna and pushes the girls back into the bathroom. The girls know that Jenna is coming in here and Spencer creates a plan to see if Jenna can see. Aria gives her the earring and Spencer puts it in plain sight where Jenna can see it. Hanna and Spencer go in one stall as Emily and Aria go in another one. The girls watch Jenna through the little hole. Jenna takes off her glasses, picks up the earring and looks at it. This then tells the girls that Jenna can see. Jenna leaves the bathroom and the four girls storm out of the stalls ready to get revenge against Jenna.

Hanna wants to slap her again and Aria wants to hang a sign. But Spencer says that they shouldn't out Jenna yet because they can use this to their advantage. Hanna, Emily and Aria give her questioning looks and Spencer says that Jenna doesn't know that they know that she can see. Spencer thinks they can use this to find out what Jenna knows and they will. The girls then smile because they're going to get answers from this.

In Kingdom of the Blind, Hanna is with Spencer, Emily and Aria in the courtyard as they are watching Jenna. They want to find a way to prove that she is lying about being blind and Hanna thinks that they should push a table in front of her. Emily asks if Mona had said anything about the texts but Hanna says no. When Spencer mentions Aria talking to Jenna, Hanna jokes by saying she'll trade her Mona for Jenna. The bell rings and the girls go back inside but stop when they see Mr.Hackett arguing with Lucas.

Hanna follows Lucas into a classroom and wants to know why Mr.Hackett is mad at him. Lucas tells her about the letter and how he has to give it to his parents because of his new bad attitude. Just then Lucas takes out a lighter and sets the paper on fire and puts it in the trashcan and walks away. Hanna tries to get the fire out by throwing some books on it but it doesn't go out. Caleb shows up and pours water on it and the fire is gone but he wants to know what was going on.

Caleb and Hanna go to a coffee shop where they talk about Lucas and how he used to be sweet. Caleb jokes by saying no guy ever wants to be called sweet by a girl. Hanna then says that he is now like a sour patch kid and then asks Caleb if he has talked to Lucas since he moved out but Caleb says no. Hanna asks if he can talk to him and Caleb says yes, but if she does something for him, and that is he wants her to stop seeing Mona.

The next day at lunch, Aria talks to them about talking to Jenna while Emily checks her English grade. When she says that she got a 94, Hanna says she wishes she was pulling 90's and also mentions that Emily shouldn't go all Spencer on her grades but Emily says that she couldn't have gotten that because she didn't even finish the test. The girls then think that someone, like A, changed the grade.

After Aria goes to Jenna's house, she meets Hanna, Spencer and Emily at Spencer's house to tell them what she found which was the note about the Cobb and headphones. The girls realize that they need to follow her in order to find out what it means. Aria steps out to take a call from her mom and Emily asks Spencer about her sister and her mom defending Garret. Spencer says that her mom believes he is actually innocent but Spencer also says that she thinks there is more to why she is defending him. Hanna tells them that she has been thinking about something but says she doesn't want to say it. Spencer jokes by saying she has to say it now and Hanna says that she thinks Garret is really the father of Melissa's baby. At first Spencer thinks that's like crossing over to the Twilight Zone, then realizes that Garret and Melissa became close before he got arrested.

Hanna ignores Caleb favor and goes to see Mona at Radley. She sees Mona maybe making some friends because she is reading to a group of people. But when Mona sees Hanna she stops to go talk to her. Hanna says that Mona has changed but Mona says that the doctors have changed her medication. Hanna also says that this place hasn't really changed that much and Mona says that she cant trust anyone these days, not even family. Hanna gives her a strange look and Mona also asks her if they found anything left of Ali's body. Hanna again gives her a questioning look. When Hanna leaves the room she was in, she hides behind a wall because she sees Lucas going in to talk to Mona but Lucas doesn't see Hanna.

Hanna then leaves Radley but when she walks outside she sees Caleb waiting for her. Hanna asks if he was following her but Caleb responds by saying he would have not known where she was going in order to follow her. Caleb also says that he thought they had a deal but Hanna says that Mona isn't dangerous anymore and that she just wants the truth about things. Hanna also lets it slip that Mona was the one who ran her over and Caleb is mad that he didn't tell him about that. Just then, Lucas walks out and Hanna wants to know what he was doing here. Lucas says that he wanted to see if Mona was really mental or not and Lucas says that he thinks Mona is faking because being in Mental Hospital is better than jail. Hanna watches as Lucas leaves and Caleb puts his hand on her shoulder watching him leave as well.

The next day, Hanna is with Aria staking out Jenna's house waiting for her to leave so they can follow her. Hanna mentions that Caleb may be scared to ask her anything and that he barely talked the entire ride back into Rosewood. Just then, they see Jenna get into a cab and drive off and Hanna and Aria follow her.

They follow her until the cab stop at a medical building. They see Jenna get out and go inside and Hanna wants to follow her right away. Aria says wait a couple minutes so Jenna doesn't know that they are following her. They then see a blue car drive by with Jenna driving it. Hanna and Aria look surprised and they call Spencer and Emily to know what they saw and what Jenna was doing.

Spencer and Emily meet up with Hanna and Aria at the place where they saw Jenna. They see her get out a gun store and Spencer wonders what she was doing in a gun store in which Hanna thinks it's for target practice. When Jenna goes back into her car, Hanna walks over to her car to confront her about her lying about being blind. Hanna says "What a sight for sore eyes."

Hanna, Spencer, Emily and Aria talk with Jenna in an alley. The girls cut right to it and ask Jenna that she can really see. Jenna says the surgery really did work but she wanted to pretend to be blind because of the fire. The girls give each other questioning looks and Jenna says that she thinks someone is after her, that's why she pretended to be blind. When Aria asks who is after her, Jenna responds by saying if she knew who it was, she wouldn't have to pretend to be blind. Jenna also says that it would be easier to track the person if the person thought she was blind. Jenna then asks the girls if the can keep this between them because she is still a target. At first the girls don't want to but Jenna says that they owe her.

In Birds of a Feather, Hanna is at the Grille with Spencer, Emily and Aria eating some cake. They start discussing who the "New A" could be. Aria brings up Lucas because he went to go see Mona but Hanna says he may be a the new bad boy but he cant be "A." Hanna mentions that they need to find out who the Black Swan is so they can get closer to "New A." When Melissa asks Spencer if she wants anymore food, Emily mentions that she looks good after her pregnancy. Hanna says she looks like a size 2 which is the Black Swan. Spencer says that she could have been the Black Swan because she lost the baby in June and the party was before that. Just then Jason walks in and has an argument with Mrs.Hastings. After he storms out, Spencer follows him as well as Hanna, Emily and Aria. The girls see the poster that Jason put up for the reward on the information on Ali's body disappearing.

Hanna meets up with Aria at school. Aria tells Hanna about her dad and how he is dating Meredith. Hanna asks if Aria's mom knows but Aria says no and that she is dreading telling her. Aria also mentions to Hanna about how her dad is changing due to the divorce and dating Meredith.

After school, Hanna goes to Radley to see Mona. When she signs in to see her, the nurse stops her and says she cant have visitors anymore. Hanna asks since when and the nurse says because her doctor says she cant anymore. Hanna says that she has been visiting her for the past few weeks so it must be a mistake. When Hanna says she'll just be a few minutes, a security guy stops her. Hanna then asks when she can be able to see her but the nurse says that Mona lost visitation rights. Hanna wants to know why but the nurse has no idea.

At Hanna's house, Hanna is on the phone with Wren wanting to know why she lost her rights. He tells her that she flipped out when a guy visited her. Caleb comes in and surprise her with two tickets to got see a band. Hanna is distracted with the whole Mona thing so she doesn't seem that happy. Caleb jokes that this was the part where she is supposed to jump up and kiss him and then asks her what is wrong. Hanna tells him that she cant see Mona anymore and that she is going to kill Lucas for seeing her. Caleb tells Hanna that he was the one that saw her and Hanna asks why he went there. Caleb says that he wanted to tell her to stop messing with Hanna but she started flipping tables acting like she was possessed. Hanna tells him again that Mona is locked in Radley so she cant hurt her and she also mentions that Wren thinks it's good that is she is seeing Mona. Caleb then asks why she is listening to some guy she barley knows over him. Hanna says she cant talk to him about Mona because he has already made up his mind about Mona and Hanna also says that she has to continue seeing Mona. Caleb throws the tickets in the air and walks away mad.

Aria comes over to Hanna's house as Hanna tells her about the fight she had with Caleb. Aria tells Hanna that she thinks she should tell Caleb about A because it's coming between them. Hanna asks what Aria is doing on her computer and Aria says she is looking for someone for her mom. Hanna asks why she hasn't told her mom yet but Aria says she is dreading it still. They look at some of the guys and Hanna jokes that her mom needs someone that doesn't look like a grape. Aria mentions that she needs a screen-name but Hanna says she gives lame screen-names. Hanna comes up with "Hot Mama." Hanna's mom walks in and Aria quickly closes the computer. Ashley asks what is going on because they don't keep secrets from each other anymore. So the girls show her explain they are looking for a guy for Aria's mom. Ashley gives her opinion on some of the guys too.

Hanna goes back to Radley to try to sneak in to Mona but is surprised to see Wilden. Wilden gives Wren a court order saying he needs to go in to talk to Mona. As Wilden talks to Mona, Hanna talks to Wren. Wren says that Wilden is still in there and Hanna wants to know what he is talking to her about because they have been in there for over an hour. Wren says it has something to do with Ali's body disappearing but Hanna says Mona doesn't know anything about that because she has been at Radley for the past five months. Wren says something about the judge looking into things and Hanna then asks if Wren can sneak her in to see Mona because she has one question and she'll be quick. Wren says he would help but his hands are tied because he got in trouble for extending Mona's visiting hours. Hanna says that she didn't know that he did that and Wren says that she thought she needed it. Hanna asks why he did that and Wren explains that he saw them together and thought they were connecting. Hanna then thanks him.

At Spencer's house, Hanna tells the girls about how Wilden had a court order to see Mona. Emily wonders what they talked about as Aria wonders if Mona told him about how they had something to do that night when Ali's body went missing but Spencer says that if she did, they would be in jail. Hanna mentions that they need to find out who the Black Swan is as Aria mentions that Spencer need to find out when Melissa lost the baby and Emily says she lied for a reason. Spencer then says that they know why Mona tortured them but why would her sister. Hanna says it was because she made out with her fiancée and broke off their engagement. Spencer says that was her but what about them. Aria says that Melissa knows about the video and placing her in Ali's room the night she died and that Melissa also fits the Black Swan costume. Spencer then grabs a set of keys and says that they are going to Philly to search Melissa's room.

Hanna, Emily and Aria hide behind something as they watch Melissa leave. Hanna calls Spencer, who is the distractor for Melissa so they can search her room, and informs her that Melissa left. Hanna asks if they should go in yet but Spencer says to wait because Melissa could go back for any reason and catch them. Hanna, Emily and Aria wait for Spencer to text but Melissa doesn't meet up with Spencer. So they girls decide to go in anyway. They search her room for anything relating to "A" or the Black Swan but don't really find anything. Unbeknowest to them, Melissa forgot something so she is going back. She texts Spencer who then texts her friends saying don't go in yet. Aria doesn't get the message as they still look for some stuff. They accidentally knock some CDS over and start to pick them up. Melissa starts to open the door and they realize the need to hide. The pick up the stuff and hide in Melissa's closet. As Melissa grabs her wallet and leaves the girls also leave the closet. Before the go out though, they see a bag that could hold a dress. When Aria opens it, there is nothing in there but Hanna finds a blue feather at the bottom that matches the one they found at the Masquerade Party.

Hanna and Aria show Spencer the feathers they found in Melissa's closet. The show her that they match the ones they found the night of the Masquerade Party. Spencer then says that she will talk to Melissa tonight in Philly for a reason as to why she was doing this. Hanna and Aria say that they will go with her because they're all in this together and Melissa has hurt them too. Spencer brings up that Emily gets off work at 8 so theyll all go then.

Hanna goes home and waits for Caleb so she can tell him about the "A" as she gets a text from "A." The text if a picture of a car crash as the EMT's jacket says "Montecito" and the text says "I'm everywhere, Hanna." Letting Hanna know that "A" had hurt Caleb's mom.

Caleb comes over to Hanna's house and Hanna asks how he is doing because of his mom. He says he is alright and his mom is fine. He also says that his mom says she felt like someone was trying to run her off the road. Caleb asks what she needed to tell him but Hanna says not to worry about it anymore. Caleb then says that he doesn't get it, first she says that she is keeping something from him and now she is telling him that she cant tell him. Hanna assures him that it's nothing as Caleb walks over to her tells her that he understood why she was lying to him last year to protect him but there is no more "A" and then asks if it's about Mona. Hanna asks if they can drop it and Caleb walks out. She asks him where he is going and Caleb says that he feels like she has been shutting him out for weeks. Hanna asks if he could just be patient with her but Caleb says that he been nothing but patient. Caleb then asks what is going on but Hanna just stares at him and doesn't say anything. Caleb then says that he cant do this anymore and Hanna starts to get teary-eyed as she asks if he is breaking up with her. He then says she didn't really give him much of a choice and walks out as Hanna cries even more.

Hanna is later with Aria crying into her lap about her break up with Caleb because she only did it to protect him from "A."

In That Girl is Poison, Hanna is at her house on her phone looking sad when her mom walks in and asks what she is still doing home because she should be at school. Hanna says she doesn't feel good and wants to stay home. Hanna's mom brings up Caleb's mom and asks how she is. Hanna doesn't know because Caleb won't return her texts. Her mom tries to cheer her up by saying their break up is just for now and who knows what the future will hold. Her mom also tells her the future won't hold anything if she doesn't go to school so Hanna goes to grab her bag. But Hanna's mom asks if she is going dressed like that, which is a t-shirt and some sweetpants. Hanna walks out the door and her mom leaves but Hanna goes back inside not going to school because she is too heartbroken.

That night, Hanna goes over to Spencer's house where Spencer talks to Hanna about Jenna's party. Hanna wants to know where her invention is but Spencer notices what Hanna is wearing and asked her if she came from yoga. Hanna says no she was just too depressed to work a zipper. They walk over to her couch as Aria comes over telling them about what Emily overhear at The Brew. Aria tells them about how Lucas was Laura assistant until she fired him for using the space for his own gain. When the girls think that Lucas drugged Emily, Hanna says that he cant be the "New A" because he can barley lift a chemistry book. Spencer wonders what this party if really for, a real party or just to get the four of them together so Jenna could drop pig's blood on them. Hanna says she won't be dropping any on her because who would want to go to this party. But Aria says she is going.

Following her moms orders, Hanna goes to the church and sorts the clothes. Her mom checks on her and asks how she is doing but Hanna just wants to go home. Hanna's mom tells her to finish sorting then she can go home. When Mrs.Marin talks to a man named Ted, Ted says that Hanna is a good worker but when they turn around she is texting someone.

Later, Hanna is still at the church sorting clothes when a new bag of clothes come in. She looks on them and sees a black jacket that looks familiar to her. She picks it up and puts in her bag taking it because she knows it. Ted comes over and asks how she is holding up and if she taking that jacket. Hanna says she wants to buy it and hands him a twenty. After he leaves, Hanna calls Emily and leaves her a voicemail saying she found the jacket Emily was wearing "That night."

Hanna goes to the hospital where she knows that Emily is there. Emily asks if she knows where Spencer is and Hanna explains that Wilden scared her a little bit. Hanna tells Emily about the jacket she found and how she thought that Spencer and Emily burned all her clothes from that night. Emily says they did but her jacket was missing when she got back to Spencer's and she wasn't wearing it in the graveyard. They then know someone took the jacket but they don't think it's Jenna because seeing how shes their new BFF why wouldn't she just give it to them. Hanna shows Emily the jacket and Emily sees the pink thread in the pocket meaning that the jacket is hers.

In The Remains of the "A" Hanna is with Spencer at the hospital setting the trap for "A." They look for the room that Garret's mom is in so they can leave the note. Spencer hands Hanna the note that Garret left so Hanna can copy the handwriting. Spencer asks how Hanna could copy the note and Hanna says she has been copying her mom's handwriting so she could get out of P.E. When Spencer asks if she really wants to do this, Hanna says she does because this A broke her and Caleb up. So Hanna goes into the room where Garret's mom is to place the note as Spencer stays outside to make sure no one goes in. As Hanna puts the note on Garret's mom wristband, his mom's heart stops beating. So Hanna runs out and her and Spencer run for the elevators.

Hanna goes to see Emily at work where she tells her about the plan for tonight. She hands her the address that she found in Mrs.Reynolds room before she her heart stopped beating. Emily jokes by saying she thought Hanna was afraid of old people but Hanna says that old people are scared of her instead. The address is Riverside and State St but that is not in Rosewood.

Hanna then goes to the church where she sorts more clothes. Ted comes over and says it's an interesting way to sort them because she sorted them by the seasons. Ted also invites her to the party that is happening, called the "thank-you" party at the church and it was a way to thank the volunteers who worked the clothing drive. Hanna says thanks but no thanks because she doesn't want to go. When Ted brings up that it's tonight, Hanna is worried because that ruins her plans for catching A because she thought the church would be empty tonight.

At the Grille, Hanna meets up with Spencer as Spencer explains her meeting up with Jason and how he doesn't know April. Hanna is surprised that Spencer told him about the N.A.T club and how they knew. They then discuss this April Rose and how they have to get to her before A does and how April may have the only thing that keeps Garret in jail. Hanna brings up that Maya may have found the tapes and that's why Garret had her killed and Spencer says it's possible. They also discuss how April could have a tape that Garret wants destroyed and Hanna finds it weird that A is taking orders from Garret but Spencer thinks it the other way around. Just then Aria comes in and they tell her about the plan for tonight. Spencer thinks it's a death trap but Hanna says that she is just going to see who shows up.

Hanna goes back to the church where she sorts more clothes. Her mom comes by and picks her up and Hanna is ready to leave. Her mom looks for Ted and she informs Hanna that he is her date for the party tonight. Hanna is worried because her mom is going to be there where she set the trap for "A." Hanna says that her mom cant go because she is going to be there. Her mom says that they can drive together but Hanna lies and says that Toby is picking her up. Her mom is surprised that one of her daughter's best friend's boyfriend is taking her. Hanna says that she is bringing him to scare off some guy that was hitting on her.

At Spencer's house, Hanna tells Spencer about how she needs Toby to be her date. Spencer says that it's bad enough that she canceled on him and now she has to ask him to take her friend. Hanna says she is sorry that she couldn't have come up with a better lie but words were coming out before she could stop them. Hanna is also mad that this whole plan is falling apart. Spencer brings up that she is taking this seriously because she has been in the library so much she is on a first named basis with a homeless guy. Hanna then sees a folder with a police symbol and asks Spencer what it is. Spencer says it's a police camp folder and she was thinking that maybe Garret and April went to camp together. Hanna asks Spencer if she thinks another cop helped him get away with murder, like Wilden but they say it's another possibility. Spencer brings up that when things go bad last year, she used to think what life would be like if she never met Ali and how right now her biggest concern would be were to go to college. Hanna says she thought about that too. But Spencer says that if she never met Ali then she wouldn't have been friends with Hanna, so Spencer valuing her friendship with Hanna, says that she can have Toby for the night. Hanna says that they took down Mona and they can take this person down as well.

At the church party, Hanna and Toby arrive together. He asks her if she wants any punch but she says no thanks because she doesn't drink anything that's not srink-wrapped. Toby asks her who he is here to scare off and Hanna points to a bunch of little kids. They met with Hanna's mom and Ted in the middle of the dance floor as they all greet each other. Ted says that Toby is a lucky man but Hanna says that they're just friends. Hanna sees Wilden there and pulls Toby aside.

Toby finds Hanna near the food place and asks her to dance. At first, she doesn't but then she does so they go to the dance floor. Toby asks why he is here and Hanna says to scare off those kids. But Toby says that the kid is scared of his own shadow. Toby wants to know why they are even here because the party is really boring and he has had naps more exciting than this party. He also asks her if "in a way" it's related to Caleb breaking up with her. When Hanna sees a door opened, she thinks "A" is here so she goes and checks it out.

Hanna goes into the room looking for "A" when her mom comes in to talk to her. Ashley talks to Hanna about Ted and how he is a pastor so they cant be together because of her record. Hanna talks about how no one is perfect and how they may still have a chance together. Hanna also brings up that no one is like an angel so she just give it another chance.

Emily and Hanna meet up with each other at the church party. Emily tells Hanna about how Holden may have been the one to have drugged her that night. Hanna is surprised because Holden doesn't really know anything about them. Emily also explains that she saw the tattoo on his wrist that was the same one from a flashback she got. Hanna rushes back to the organ wanting to get there before "A" does.

Hanna goes inside and crouches down behind the organ as she hears footsteps coming in. She thinks it's "A" but when they face appears it's Wilden holding the note Hanna wrote to Garrett's mom. Wilden says that he found this note and knows she wrote it because she is here. He also knows that the note is fake. Wilden accuses her and her friends of helping Garrett out but Hanna says that they aren't. Wilden thinks it was a good cover story, that they want everyone to believe he killed Ali and Maya but really they want to help him. He also tells her that she keeps creating more problems while her mom tries to help her. Hanna denies everything he says to her and then leaves.

In Crazy, Hanna is visited by Darren, who tells her that he needs a sample of her blood. Hanna seems very worried, as it might be her blood and she might be a suspect of Alison's murder.

Later, Hanna comes home with Aria and finds an Ouija board on her kitchen counter. She grabs it and cuts herself. On the other side of the board is a note from "A" that says "See how easy it is for me to get your blood?" Hanna begins to panic, telling Aria about playing Ouija with Mona a few nights before they found Alison's body.

Hanna flashbacks to that night. Mona suggests they ask the spirits what happened to Alison DiLaurentis. The board tells them: "A-L-I-V-E" before Hanna supposedly sees Alison on her patio.

Hanna meets with Mr. DiLaurentis and says she's sorry for what she did, but swears she had nothing to do with what happened to her grave. He cuts her off and says a friend would never do what she did. That night, Aria and Hanna decide to sneak back into Radley. Hanna sneaks into Mona's room and tells her that she's the only one who knows what's going on.

Hanna tells Aria that after the night she thought she saw Alison on her patio, she called Alison's mom and told her Alison was still alive, three days before Alison's body was found. They look up and Mona is gone, along with the keys. However, the two find Mona in the children's ward, combing a porcelain doll's hair. They ask her who's trying to hurt them, but Mona keeps repeating:

• "Miss Aria, you're a killer, not Ezra's wife."

• "Where were we? Maya's away sleeping sweet; until Garrett's all rosy, count on me."

• "No one to save Alison from evil."

Hanna tells the rest of the girls about the code she and Mona had when they were younger and Alison was missing (taking the first letter of every word). "Where were we? Maya's away sleeping sweet; until Garrett's all rosy, count on me." translates into "www.massugar.com". When the girls visit the website, a picture of Maya shows up on the screen. Underneath, it asks "What's the magic word?"

In Stolen Kisses, Hanna is with the rest of the girls trying to hack into Maya's site, with no luck. Spencer thinks Mona is playing them and the site is not real, but Hanna has a different view because she wanted to believe that Mona is actually trying to help them. After Emily got off the phone with Nate, Hanna asks her if it's okay with her that they try to hack into Maya's site. Emily feels like they don't have a choice, if they want to figure everything out.

Hanna and Spencer go to Spencer's house to try to hack into the site, still with no luck. Hanna thinks they should just give up, but Spencer still tries. Spencer knows that she needs help with hacking into the site, so she asks Hanna if Caleb can help. She wouldn't tell him what it really is, just tips on how to get around it. Hanna agrees to it because at least one of them can be in the same room with him. Just then, Hanna gets a text from Wren saying they need to meet.

Hanna meets Wren at The Brew where he tells her that Mona is being moved to a facility in New York because a visitor has been passing her pills, so they want better security on her. Hanna is upset because Mona doesn't know anyone in New York, so she'll be all alone. Hanna asks Wren if he can try to change the hospital's mind. Just then, Caleb walks in to get a coffee. Hanna walks over to him as they look at each other. But Caleb spots Wren, so he walks out.

At school, Hanna meets with Spencer, Emily and Aria because A sent Spencer a text about Mona leaving and Hanna being next. Hanna explains that Radley is trying to move Mona to New York because someone that visited her, was passing her pills. They think that person may have been Lucas, since he has been acting strange.

Hanna goes to Radley where she talks to Wren about Mona's move. Wren was unable to change their minds about moving Mona, but he thinks that Hanna will be able to change their minds. Hanna doesn't know what she will be able to say, but Wren tells her to tell them what she told him. Wren explains that if she doesn't, Mona will go to New York, so Hanna agrees to talk on Mona's behalf.

Hanna talks to the hospital board to try to get Mona to stay in Rosewood. At first, Hanna uses note cards to convince the board, but she sees that it's not working. So, Hanna starts talking about her friendship with Mona. She knows that Mona did terrible things, but Hanna still owes Mona for their friendship. Hanna wants to help Mona get better and cares about her, so she pleads that if they send Mona away, no one will be there for her.

Hanna waits to hear the final verdict if Mona can stay or not from Wren. Wren says that based on Hanna's speech, the board is no longer sending Mona to New York. Hanna is so happy that she gets to stay, that she kisses Wren on the lips. Wren thought they she would be pleased as they both smile. Hanna is happy, and then gets a text from Spencer.

Hanna goes over to Spencer's house where she looks at Maya's site. There are a ton of videos and pictures of Maya on the site that they need to look through. Aria thinks they should not look at this without Emily, but Spencer says she wasn't picking up her phone. The last video they look at, they see Maya talking to the camera about facing her fears while police lights flash in the back.

In The Kahn Game, Hanna is at school when she sees Caleb in the hallway. They look at each other for a moment before Caleb approaches her. Caleb was wondering if she has seen Spencer because he has the new long in for Maya's site. Their conversation is quiet and short as Hanna asks if his mom is doing better and she is. Caleb then leaves and Hanna gets a text from "A" about keeping Caleb safe.

Hanna shows the text to Spencer in the courtyard. They discuss what it means and if has something to do with Mona. Spencer asks if Wren said anything about how she is doing, but Hanna quickly brushes it off saying she hasn't talk to him. Spencer tells her that she can't go because it's not safe and Hanna promises she will not go. Hanna and Spencer see Emily and Paige together looking really happy. They agree not to tell Emily about Maya's site because she looks happy.

As Hanna leaves school, Wren calls her but she ignores it. Just then, Emily confronts Hanna about being able to get into Maya's site. Hanna said that they did get into it a few days ago, but didn't want to bother her with it because she looked happy with Paige. Hanna gives the log-in information to Emily so Emily can make peace with the whole thing and just be happy.

At home, Hanna looks at the message "A" sent her about Caleb. She decides to go to the Grille and lies to her mom saying she is meeting Aria. Hanna sees that something is up with her mom, so she calls her on it. Her mom tells her that the police came by with a court order about Hanna's blood being on the anklet. Spencer's mom is on it though, so she wouldn't worry.

Hanna waits at the Grille for "A," but Caleb shows up. She wants him to leave, but he tells her to get in the car. Caleb admits that he sent the text about him to her. Hanna gets in the car as the drive into an alley. Hanna is freaking out because Caleb doesn't know what any of this means, even though he thinks it means she can stop lying to him. Hanna furiously gets out of the car and explains that this new "A" is more dangerous than ever because s\he ran over his mom and possibly killed Maya.

Caleb continues to talk about Maya's site and if they look on that, it could lead them to "A." Hanna doesn't want to go down this road with him again, but he asks if she is prepared that this new "A" could be someone close to her again. Hanna admits that none of this has been easy because she misses him a lot and it has made her do crazy things. Caleb tells her that he is going to help her take down "A," and he is not asking for permission. Caleb than grabs Hanna as they make out.

In What Lies Beneath, Hanna is helping her mom move things around on their patio when she finds a crumpled,damp note. She calls her friends over so they could see the note, but she cannot read it because parts of it got washed out. But the note was to Emily saying Maya wanted to meet her someplace because she wanted to show her something. The girls wonder what she needed to show Emily and they think it may be evidence that could keep Garrett in jail.

Hanna goes to The Brew with Emily as she looks at Maya's site trying to find clues to see if she can figure out where Maya wanted to meet Emily. Hanna sees Wren come in and he talks to her. Hanna hasn't been in to see Mona lately so he was wondering if everything was alright. He tells her that when she does come back, maybe they could grab coffee. Hanna explains that their kiss, can't ever happen again because Spencer is her best friend and it's too soon for her to see anyone.

Hanna goes back to her house to find more clues on Maya's site. She printed the pictures out to get a better look at them. Emily comes in and asks Hanna why she is obsessing over this. Hanna admits that Caleb knows about A, so she is doing this because of Caleb. Hanna and Emily find a clue in two pictures that is a sign, and when they put the pictures together, they realize that Maya was at Noel Kahn's cabin.

Hanna and Emily go to Noel's cabin not realizing that there are security cameras around them. They looks around the cabin, which is trashed because there was a huge party there. Emily is surprised that Maya would even come here because she didn't think it was her style. Hanna and Emily find a room that has a hidden bookshelf in it and when they open it, it was a passage way to another room. They go inside where they find a purse which belonged to Maya. In the bag there was a birthday card Emily wrote to Alison, a ticket to San Francisco and a knife with LJ carved into it. Just then, the door to the room slams shut and locks them in there. Emily tries to get some service, but there isn't any. Hanna and Emily start breaking down the windows when Hanna gets glass in her leg. Emily ties a scarf around it, as they climb out the window escaping A.

Emily brings Hanna back her house as she tells her that she needs to go the hospital. Hanna won't go there because she doesn't want to explain it to her mom. So Emily calls Wren to take care of Hanna. He stitches her leg up asking how she got the cut. Hanna lies saying she got cut while cutting carrots. Wren says he'll give her some antibiotics but she shouldn't have them on an empty stomach. He sees what she has in her fridge, which she doesn't have much.

Hanna and Wren eat in her kitchen as she walks over to the counter to put her leg up. He helps her to the counter and puts her leg up, as they look at each other for a moment. Wren tries to kiss her but Hanna backs away saying it is getting really late and he should get going. Hanna thanks him for saving her and a rejected Wren says anytime and walks out.

Hanna goes to Spencer's house with Aria as Spencer shows them the video that Noel sent her. Hanna watches Noel and Jenna go inside Noel's cabin as Maya comes from the woods to go to her bike. While she is walking there, someone grabs her and takes her. The time-frame on it is around 1:14 a.m and Spencer notes that Garrett got arrested around midnight, meaning Garrett, Jenna and Noel did not kill Maya.

In Single Fright Female, Hanna is at home with Spencer trying to cover her wound. when she gets a call from Wren , Spencer then asks Hanna multiple questions about her and Wren but she says it's nothing. After Ted comes over to see Ashley, Ted tells her about the flash drive that Spencer threw at Ian. Hanna begins to worry that Jenna will go after her because of the video with her and Toby. Hanna tries to take it but is caught by Ashley

When Ashley questions Hanna if it's was Mona's videos and she says yes. she also tells her that Mona is better now as they both leave.

We later seen Hanna on the computer talking to Caleb from across the room ad Jenna comes in and Tells her that her time is up and she leaves.

Hanna approaches Jenna and tells her that the Flash drive was found and Jenna ignores her. Nate then asks Hanna whats going on with Emily because she's acting weird after the kiss and Hanna tells him she's gay. She then informs Nate that Jenna was faking her blindness.

After Spencer's encounter with the snake, she tells Hanna and Hanna thinks it was Jenna while Spencer thinks it was Paige because she said "Snake" when talking to Emily about Paige. Hanna then gets a call from Emily and em tells her that the bag is missing.

Hanna and Spencer goes back to the Boutique to help CeCe and Hanna says she got Emily to go there. When CeCe comes back with a dress, Hanna takes it and goes in the back. while changing, Caleb is there and they begin to make out until CeCe comes back with Shoes.

Hanna and Spencer are folding clothes and Spencer thinks the knife is in Paige's bag. they search through it and the search is over when Emily catches them. Hanna is now sure that Emily hates them more than before.

In The Lady Killer, Hanna, Spencer and Aria discuss how to tell Emily that Paige is "A" and has Ali's body. Hanna thinks it is weird that Paige would drug herself, but Spencer says that is the perfect alibi. When Emily comes over, she thinks she is getting an apology from them for going through Paige's bag, but instead her friends tell her that they think Paige is "A." Hanna shows her the earring they found in Paige's bag, but Emily still doesn't buy it and leaves.

At school, Hanna finds Aria in the courtyard and tells her that Emily wasn't in first period. Aria has a gloomy look on her face because Emily was totally right on calling her out on lying. Aria tells Hanna that she went to go see Maggie, Ezra's ex-girlfriend, and it turns out he has a son. Aria also tells Hanna that she hasn't told Ezra yet either. Hanna tells her that Ali was wrong when she said secrets keep us close, as Hanna thinks secrets tear people apart.

Hanna meets Spencer and Aria in the courtyard during lunch and tells them that Paige wasn't in Spanish. Hanna thinks that Paige is with Emily because neither of them are in school. The girls think that they should tell Emily's mom about Paige to keep Emily safe because Emily isn't listening to them. They agree to tell Mrs.Fields after school, but they get a text from "A" about standing down to keep Emily safe.

Hanna, Spencer and Aria go to Hanna's house as they discuss their next move. Aria sees that Hanna has a concerned look on her face and Hanna was just worried about Emily. She buried Maya and now she is stuck with some physco. They get a text from "A" with a picture of the three of them with the shovel from "That Night", but Emily isn't in it. An also wants them to bring Maya's bag to Ali's grave tonight. They hear someone come upstairs but it was just Caleb, who is going with them to take down "A."

Hanna finally gets Emily to pick up one of her phone calls. Hanna tells her that Garrett's trial is the highlight of the town and that even though it may not seem like it, they are there for her. Emily says that it doesn't seem like they are and tells Hanna that she is going with Nate to the Lighthouse Rock Inn.

Hanna goes back to her house where she finds Caleb and finds out he was planning on bringing a gun. Hanna tells him to get rid of it or else he can't come. She doesn't want him getting hurt but Caleb wanted to bring it because this "A" ran over his mom. Hanna still tells him to get rid of it, so he puts it in one of her drawers.

Hanna, Spencer, Caleb and Aria go to Ali's grave to meet with A face to face. Caleb gives Hanna a phone that she can just talk into, so he can hide behind the bushes to warn them when "A" comes. When "A" doesn't show up, the girls realize something is wrong. Hanna tries calling Nate, but there is no answer as Spencer looks up the Lighthouse Inn's address. There are two Lighthouse Inn's close by, so Caleb splits up from them to look at the other one.  

On the way to the Inn, Hanna calls Caleb to make sure he is alright. They say their I Love You's before hanging up. Hanna, Spencer and Aria arrive at the Lakehouse to look for Emily. The place is pitch black so Aria thinks that it's empty but Spencer sees a light inside. They go inside to look around, but the place is empty. Hanna, Spencer and Aria leave to go to the Lighthouse that Caleb went to.

When they get the Lakehouse that Caleb went too, Hanna sees Caleb has been shot and is going into the ambulance. Hanna begins to cry over Caleb as Spencer and Aria try to comfort her. Emily sees that Hanna is upset so she runs over and hugs her.

Hanna, Spencer, Emily and Aria go to the hospital for news on Caleb's condition. Garrett and Mrs.Hastings comes in and Mrs.Hastings tells Emily that she is sorry about what happened tonight, but she let an innocent man go free. After she leaves, "A" calls the girls and says "I owe you Emily," and when they look up Garrett smiles at them.

In This Is A Dark Ride, Hanna walks home with Spencer, Emily and Aria as they discuss their plans for the Ghost Train. Hanna is worried that her and Spencer are going to be dressed as the same thing because the girls decided to surprise each other with their costumes. Just then, the girls see a coffin with Alison's name on it. Emily wants to go yell at the owner, but a person jumps out and scares Emily.

Hanna meets Caleb in the dentist's office supply closet so they can make out. She tells him that he kisses good for someone without a spleen, even though there is just a whole through it. They kiss again but they knock down some toilet paper. Hanna and Caleb discuss how no one has heard from A in a while, so they maybe can not have to hide their relationship.

Hanna arrives at The Brew dressed as Marilyn Monroe. Lucas takes her picture and tells her she looks beautiful. Hanna then finds Aria, who is dateless as well. Spencer finds them as Aria asks her if Garrett ever came back, but he didn't. Noel makes a joke about his costume in front of the girls and he starts to choke. Spencer and Toby help him, but he was just faking it. After Emily and Paige arrive, the girls go onto the shuttle for the train.

When the girls get on the train, Hanna makes a comment that all the lights are turned off. Just then, Adam Lambert appears and starts to sing his song "Cuckoo." Hanna and her friends start to dance when someone dressed as The Phantom of the Opera touches Hanna. Hanna, not knowing who it is, tells the person not to do it again or else they'll leave in a bloody stump. Hanna goes outside to get some air when The Phantom of the Opera  follows her. It turns out to be Caleb who wanted to surprise her, and they begin to make out.

On the train, Spencer finds Hanna, who wants to know where Aria is. Hanna hasn't seen her, so they begin to look for her. They find Aria's purse and cell phone on the chair. They see the A message that says "Guess who won't be making it to the end of the line." Spencer tells her what Garrett told her about Aria's dad and Ali. They decide to split up and Hanna goes to find Caleb for extra help. She tells him there is something wrong as she sees Caleb taking off his mask near the drinks, realizing the person she is talking to isn't Caleb. When she takes off the mask, the person is disguised as Ali.

Hanna meets up with Spencer as Emily tells Paige about "A." They still don't know where Aria is, but they have Caleb and Toby looking for her too. Spencer asks Hanna if she is okay, but she isn't. Spencer shows Hanna the fingernail that the Queen of Hearts left as the attacked Spencer. Hanna and Spencer think it was a male who was behind the costume.

Hanna, Spencer and Emily continue to look for Aria but find a dead end, until they see Aria's necklace on the ground. Hanna busts the door down with a fire extinguisher and they get to Aria before the crate falls off the train. Hanna, Spencer and Emily comfort Aria only to find Garrett's dead body was next to her.

Hanna, Spencer and Emily wait on the train to make sure Aria is alright. When she comes out, she tells her friends that Garrett was lying about seeing her dad with Ali the night she died. The police aren't letting anyone leave because they need statements. Noel approaches the girls because he want them to tell the police what really happened so they can all go home. Toby starts a fight because Noel was attacking Hanna, Spencer and Emily and when he pushes Noel into the table, Alison's body bag comes out.

in She's Better Now, Hanna is sleeping and is awaken by Mona. Mona tells her that she is scared to go back to school and ask Hanna to be by her side, by Hanna says that she's not defenseless as she tortured them the last two years. while they are talking, Regina knocks and ask if someone is in there and Hanna says she's reading.

in the Morning, Regina is cooking breakfast and tells Hanna that she has a muffin basket and she tells Regina it's from Mona. Regina tells Hanna about a cousin who was sent away for four months and came back just fine which Hanna questions if people really can change.

Later, Hanna walks up to Aria Emily and Spencer and tells them that she'll be around for Mona. Later in class Meredith catches Aria texting (possibly to Hanna) and when Meredith takes the phone and asks aria to stay, Hanna stays behind by her side.

When Hanna catches up to Mona, she opens up her locker and there is a cow brain in it. Hanna walks up to Caleb and asks him if He can talk to Lucas, she thinks that Lucas was stabbed by Aria on the Halloween Train because he is limping and Caleb agrees.

Hanna and Emily walks down to the basement to see what Creepy Harold is doing and they find that he has all of Mona's properties from the Lost Woods Resort. she then texts aria and tells her to meet at the Brew. When Aria,Emily,Hanna, and Caleb meet there it is revealed that Mona lied to Hanna bout being forced to go back to school, she begged the school to come back. When Aria finds it hard to tell Ezra about his son, Hanna says that if you don't tell him soon then the boy's going to be raised without a dad and looks at Caleb.

Later, Hanna and Regina are watching an apology video that Mona released. when Lucas comes over, Hanna asks why is Mona back at school and Lucas tells her that she has been roaming around town for a while. they both admit to missing each other. Hanna and Regina arrive to the 10k and Hanna tells Aria and Spencer that she thinks Mona was on the Halloween Train. They later meet up at the basement with Emily and takes Alison's diary. when They all leave the basement (including Toby) they witness the fire.

in Mona-Mania!, Hanna is with Spencer and Emily as they go to the school at night to see what else Harold has in his office as they talk about Byron and Alison. Hanna volunteers to wait outside while Spencer and Emily go in. when Emily can't find the light switch, a black hooded figure runs away but Hanna sees the dirty sneakers. They then realize that a switched Ali's diary with a fake one.

The next morning, all of the girls are at the brew talking about Bad dreams, Harold's office being empty and Meredith blaming them for what happened at the 10k. Mona then walks up and tells the girls that Harold stalked her because they use to talk at the Lost Woods Resort and he began to like her. She also says that Harold was the one responsible for the fire, they don't believe her story and Hanna says there is more to the story.

Later, Hanna walks up to Lucas and tells him that she knows it was him in the harold's office but all Lucas says is that he was looking or something and he shouldn't be seen with her. He says that Hanna should watch out for Mona and that he couldn't stop her, which is revealed that he was the one who started the fire in the previous episode. He was trying to scare Mona but burned Meredith by accident. Hanna tells him to not do that again and he says as long as Mona is back no one is safe.

The next day at lunch, the girls are talking about Mona going up against Spencer for team Captain. Hanna says that if Mona is up to her old tricks then they should stay away from her. Mona then walks over and says that she thanks Spencer for not being angry and she can't have any access to the Internet. Hanna thens says that they know she snuck in and out of Radley so why would they believe her. Mona then starts to cry and the girls leave the table.

Hanna, Emily and Aria goes to Aria's house and talk about what she talked to Ella about the night Alison died. Aria tells them that Byron knows how Ella can get after too many wine so she questions: did he want her to sleep all night to meet Alison?  Emily says that in the diary Byron was supposed to meet Alison when she came from Georgia, they look for the note which is missing from Aria's boot.

Hanna then goes to Lucas house as Lucas says he's leaving rosewood High for good and ask him if Mona was blackmailing him, he reveals that Mona is still blackmailing him and has been since the Masquerade Ball. he then says that he got an envelope from Jason and when he told Mona he was done, someone tried to run him over with an SUV. he says it was Mona (When it was really Toby). 

After Spencer loses to Mona and she celebrates at the Brew, Hanna walks in from getting a text from Spencer and asks her if Mona cheated. Toby is still at Dinner so Hanna drives Spencer home, but before she leaves she tells Mona that she knows she is up to no good and still lying. She also says that all the times she visited her in Radley was  a waste of time and that she doesn't want to see,hear or know her.

Hanna and Spencer are at Spencer's house as Hanna gets a text about her making a big mistake of cutting Mona off. Hanna says that she's not going to be afraid anymore and that Mona had it coming, but Spencer says that she doesn't have to hide behind A, she can just do it in the open.

In Misery Loves Company, Hanna comes over to a sick Aria's house as Emily and Spencer are already there. She brings things that would help anyone that is sick. They talk about whether or not they can trust Meredith, Aria keeping the pages in a safe place until Byron comes back and if Byron did intentionally hurt Alison then that's a secret Aria can't hide.

At Hanna's house. she asks Caleb what dress should she put on for her interview for Corin. he tells her to try one on but when she leaves something she stops and overhears caleb talking to someone telling them that they need to put an end to Mona's game. when she ask who was that he says it was his mom, and she tells him not to do anything stupid.

At the courtyard, Hanna walks up to Emily and Paige and asks Emily if they can talk. she asks Em if she can follow Caleb because Spencer is busy with her surprise anniversary for Toby, she has the interview and Aria is sick. she also says that her and her mom use to do it with their dad and if it was Paige she would do it for her.

We next see Hanna walking to the interview. when she looks at herself in the window she sees a blonde girl with the Vivian Darkbloom red coat on watching her, when she turns around the blonde girl is gone. When Hanna walks in the store the lights go out and we see "A" running past. Hanna runs from "A" as they both go through mazes of Mannequins. "A" hides behind one and knocks Hanna down and drops the key. After "A" leaves, Hanna gets a text that says "Next time you'll be faceless" and she picks up the key.

Later at Hanna's, Spencer, Hanna and Emily talks about corin moving the store about a month ago. Hanna thinks it is Mona because of cutting her off at the end of Mona-Mania! and so does Spencer but Emily thinks that it was one of Mona's associates of an A-army. Hanna doesn't think Mona would threaten her like that but she does think Mona is involved. Hanna gives Spencer advice about the dinner as she leaves.

Hanna and Emily are about to walk into a pharmacy as they notice Meredith asking for pills, when Meredith picks up like five boxes of pills they search what kind it is. They realize that the pills she picked up were sleeping pills and they turn around as Meredith leaves. they try to call Aria (unknown that Meredith has it) and it goes straight to voicemail. 

Later that night, Hanna and emily goes to aria's house which is unlocked and they go upstairs to her bedroom. when they call, Meredith stands behind them and asks what are they doing out in the storm. when Hanna ask where aria is, Meredith leads them down to the basement only to lock them down there with an unconscious Aria.

After aria wakes up, they devise a plan to give Meredith the paper and then take her down. when Byron finds them down there he tells them that He didn't kill Alison but as soon as he walked away Melissa came outside on the phone, he tells them as long as Alison went missing, the longer he felt he didn't have to bring it up.

in Out of the Frying Pan, Into the Inferno, Hanna is at home talking To Caleb on her laptop. when Ashley walks in she asks how did she hurt her arm but Hanna says she fell in gym. Ashley then asks her if it's been difficult seeing Mona everyday at school and threatens to call Vice Principal Tamborelli but Hanna says she can handle Mona and just leave it alone.

Walking to the Brew, Hanna and Aria questions Spencer about the anniversary. when Hanna asks if it was a surprise, Spencer says it was a big surprise (to Hanna the surprise was the dinner, to Spencer the surprise was the reveal of Toby being A). when Aria asks if she was with Caleb she says he's been acting weird. Spencer then tells them that she has to get to class.

At the Brew, Hanna and Aria meets up with Emily and Emily shows them the biology book that she found the night before belonged to Alison that Maya put away in a box. while they are reading it they realize that Alison was writing to someone about the "Beach Hottie". they also find out that whoever Alison was writing to is someone they know and that they are also talking about Toby.

Later in the courtyard, after Aria gets off the phone with Ezra, Hanna tells her to just go now and talk to him. walking away, she overhears Paige on the phone talking to someone referencing that putting the wet brain in Mona's locker didn't help. the caller is revealed to be Caleb and she tells him she'll be there by 7.

At lunch, Aria and Emily meets up with Hanna and they talk about Spencer leaving her English class as they spot Ezra. they overhear Ezra telling aria that Spencer told him about his son. they also witness Ezra leaving angrily and aria looking upset.

Later, Aria calls Hanna and Hanna tells her that she is following Paige. she planned on telling them but Ezra showed, and she tells aria that she has to go and aria tells her to be careful. Hanna finally finds Paige talking to Shana in a lesbian bar. while spying on Paige, she gets a drink from a girl that's watching her across the floor. when Paige and Shana leave she runs to another spot and finds herself dancing with the girl who ordered her drink but still spying. just then, another girl walks up and makes a rude remark to Hanna and throws a drink at her (apparently she liked the girl that liked Hanna). the owner walks up and asks for Hanna's ID.

At the police station, Hanna meets up with Emily and tells her she got arrested for underage drinking. when Emily ask was she at a club she says it's was a club but more of a bar. Wilden walks up and takes the biology book as evidence that a man may have wanted to hurt Alison because she thought she was pregnant (revealed from CeCe to Emily), Hanna asks her what is she think and Emily thinks they can end everything. when Emily goes to get coffee and a napkin, she stops and Hanna asks her whats wrong and they realize that Wilden took a photo in Cape May (was it the same summer Alison was there?).

Ashley has picked Hanna up from the station and asks why was she at a bar. Hanna tells her that she was following Paige because she knew Paige and Caleb were devising plans to bring down Mona. she also tells her that she thinks Paige may be talking to someone else but Ashley tells her to stay out of it and to go wash her hair.

In Dead To Me, Hanna is at the brew with Spencer, Emily and Hanna as they talk about the picture of Wilden in cape may. just then, Jason walks in and tells them that Alison will be buried again but in the mausoleum and that the keepsakes they buried with her are missing. All of the girls (minus Spencer) accept the invitation.

Hanna is with Aria at school talking about them two being the only ones who have received a keepsake from Ali's grave. Hanna suggest they throw them away buy Aria says she isn't sure because A is going to do something if they do. Aria then goes to Ezra's apartment and Hanna leaves.

Later, Hanna finds Caleb in a classroom and he tells her that his aunt is moving away and that he has a chance to go look at some things before she leaves. Hanna goes to Aria's house as aria tells her about Wesley and that she is going to cook for Caleb so he can go to his aunt's house. Hanna asks aria what does she plan to do with the earrings and aria says she is going to keep them.

Hanna and Caleb goes to his aunt's house and looks through the boxes with Caleb's uncle Jamie Doyle. Hanna asks Caleb how long has it been since he seen Jamie and he says it's been a while. Hanna asks Jamie what happened to Caleb's dad and he says that his dad left because he wasn't ready to be a dad. after looking through Caleb is ready to leave, but before they leave Jamie gives Hanna a picture of Caleb as a baby. At Hanna's house, Hanna shows Caleb the picture and the man holding had a ring on (the same ring Jamie had on) and Caleb storms out.

That night at the mausoleum, Hanna is with Jason, Aria and Emily as they wait for Spencer but she never shows. they are all in front of Ali's tomb and describe how creepy the place is. just then, Spencer walks in and tells Jason about Alison being pregnant and Wilden possibly being the father. Hanna, Emily and Aria then leave angrily at Spencer. while walking they say that something is wrong with Spencer after her break up. Emily then has a flashback to "That Night" and tells them about the blonde girl in the red coat, Hanna thinks it may have been Alison but Emily is sure that she is in charge.

In What Becomes of the Broken-Hearted, Hanna is at school talking about Spencer, who has skipped class, and Hanna tells them to just give her some space. Aria reveals that Hanna locked herself in her bedroom for two weeks and ate only Eskimo pies. Hanna corrects her and states it was four days and skinny cows. She goes to visit Caleb's uncle, Jamie, and they talk about his and Caleb's relationship. Hanna and Caleb get into fight about him going to meet his father. Just before she leaves to meet Jamie alone, Caleb decides to go with her since it would be a lot easier. They wait and are fixing to leave when Jamie comes in. Hanna talks to Ashley about getting Pastor Tad to hire Jamie to work on the bell tower, so that he would stay in Rosewood longer. She and Caleb are waiting in the church to hear if Jamie got the job - which he did- and when they leave to go order pizza, Hanna puts a $5 dollar bill in the offering box (which has a pair of dice stamped on it). When the pizza arrives, Jamie begins to pull out money for pizza, Hanna notices that same $5 dollar bill, indicating that Jamie stole it from the offering box. She gets an SOS text from Emily and arrives at the hospital with rest of the girls. When a nurse states that the patient, Jason, is missing, the girls race to his room to find him gone and his neck brace and IVs are on the bed.

In Hot Water, Hanna is at the Brew with the girls when Detective Wilden shows up. She reveals that they know about the boat he had with CeCe and Ali. Hanna, walking with her mom, sees Wilden forcefully put CeCe in his car and shares a look with him. Ashley notices and Hanna tells her about Ali may have had a relationship with Wilden and Ashley tells her to stay away from CeCe. Hanna stalls Shana, while Emily gets information at the Queen of Hearts, by talking about the outfit and Little Boy Blue, Emily gets it and they leave. She is with Emily and Aria talking about Aria's kiss with Wes. Hanna and her mom go to place where Ashley hit Wilden, only to find him gone.

In Out of Sight, Out of Mind Hanna comes home with Ashley discussing Wilden's wearabouts. Later, her and Emily are at Toby's apartment looking for clues about Toby being on the A-Team and where he is. Hanna though is watching the news looking for information about Wilden. Emily then gets angry at her for not helping and Hanna apologizes when she sees how upset Emily is. Then they find a parking pass with the name E. Lamb. Emily says that was the name he used to get into Radley. Hanna suggests talking to Toby's parents. Later all of the girls are at the brew talking when Mona comes in. Aria and Hanna are at Ezra's apartment watching Malcolm and talking about Toby. Hanna recalls when Toby brought back Dr. Sullivan the night Mona is revealed to be A. She finds that to be suspicious and points out that going to Radley is better than going to jail. Then, Hanna sees a police car, panics and leaves. When Hanna gets home, she can't find her mom and finds Wilden's police car in her garage with the tape of what happened. Later she is seen with Aria after telling her everything that happened with Wilden. They push the car into the lake, getting rid of any evidence. After Hanna gets home, she finds her mom and she says she thought she saw Wilden and that she drove by the scene and his car is gone. Hanna pretends like she doesn't know where the car is. The next day, all of the girls but Spencer are in Emily's room wondering where Spencer is. Then they talk about if Toby is really dead or not because of the funeral pamphlet Emily got with a note saying "Toby is no more -A."

In Will the Circle Be Unbroken? In the opening scene, Hanna, Spencer, and Aria are wondering where Spencer is and decide that they will all search for her after school. Melissa comes with over with the principal. Melissa is panicking because she can't find Spencer either. The principle asks if they knew where she was and they all said they didn't.

Later, Hanna comes into the kitchen and finds Ashley looking in the newspaper for any information about Wilden but Hanna tells her if there was anything, they would be at their house. Ted then calls but Hanna picks up the phone and against Ahley's wishes, scheduals a date with him for coffee.

Later, Hanna and Ashley go by the church to see Ted, who is happy with Jamie's work. Wilden then walks up to them. Both Hanna and Ashley are shocked but Wilden pretends like nothing happened. Wilden tells them he took off a few days to fish.

The girls meet up at The Brew and talk about Spencer. Emily tells them Melissa saw Spencer in Radley and that only family can see her for now. Then A sends them a picture of Ashley getting pulled over by Wilden the night he was hit.

When Hanna gets home, she tells Hanna she wants to cancel her seminar in New York because now Wilden is alive and has something over them. Hanna suggests to stay over at Emily's house. Ashley eventually agrees.

The next day in the school bathroom the girls talk again. Hanna suggests they pretend to be Spencer's cousins to be able to get into Radley to visit Spencer. Aria says no one will believe that. Emily chips in that they have to find out why she is absolutely certain that Toby is dead. Aria says that A has been turning the screws for so long and that one of the girls was bound to snap a string. Aria adds that she just didn't think it would have been Spencer. Hanna says that she did, and that there's a downside to being too smart. Aria tells Emily she was never the weakest link, that Spencer was. The girls run into Mona in the bathroom. She asks about Spencer. Aria tells her she's the reason why their friend is Radley. Mona pretends like she doesn't know anything and Aria threatens her before getting called into the principal's office.

That night, Ashley and Hanna are at Emily's house while Ashley says goodbye to Hanna. As soon as Ashley pulls away Wilden pulls up in his car. Hanna tells him to go away and he asks her to tell him where his car and keys are. He says that's all he wants and if she gives it to him he'll leave them alone.

In I'm Your Puppet, Hanna, Emily, and Aria are allowed to see Spencer in Radley. Hanna tells Spencer they found a body in the woods and they think it was a hiker. It wasn't Toby though because they found it in a different place than where Spencer was and the person they had been missing for a while. Spencer is still saying that Toby is dead. After trying to talk about what they will do when Spencer comes home, Spencer tells them she wants to stay longer and that she feels safer in Radley.

After Emily and Hanna get home, Hanna is worried because Wilden knows where she is staying while Emily is stressing about Spencer.

At school the next day, Hanna and Caleb are talking outside of the school. Caleb is happy Jamie got the job and talks about how him and Jamie are more alike than he thought.Hanna seems unenthusiastic and is still worrying about the church money she saw that Jamie had. Then, Ella walks by and starts watches them.

Back at school, Hanna is taken aside by Mrs. Montgomery, who needs to speak with Ashley. Hanna asks her what's going on, and Mrs. Montgomery explains that the church's bell has been replaced to one about $8,000 less in value. They suspect Jamie took it, and Hanna is told not to tell Caleb. While she's out to dinner with Jamie and Caleb, she receives a necklace with a gold angel in thanks from Jamie, and is skeptical about it. After she puts it on, Jamie receives a call from Pastor Ted. He goes outside and then comes back in and says that he was just fired.

Later, Hanna, Aria, and Emily are dressed up like candy stripers so that they can sneak into the morgue and take a picture of the body they found in the woods so they can prove to Spencer it isn't Toby. Aria is standing outside to keep watch and make sure nobody will catch them. Emily and Hanna go inside. While Emily is checking the tags to find the hiker, Hanna is complaining and not helping. When they find the right bag, they unzip it and see the fake Ali mask covering the face. The mask is just like the one the fake Caleb was wearing in This Is A Dark Ride. They take off the mask and see the body is just somebody they don't know. After hearing something, they put the mask on the table and run out of there.

Caleb and Hanna are together and Caleb says that he knows Jamie is innocent. Hanna then confesses to Caleb about the money with the dice she put in the church box then later sees Jamie with the same bill. Caleb believes her and when he goes to get refi;ls on their drinks, A sends Hanna a text after we hear a bell in the background confirming that A was the one that framed Jamie for the bell. Caleb reads the text over her shoulder. They get to Hanna's house and Jamie comes in. Caleb confronts him and yells and him, and Jamie seems confused, but leaves when Caleb tells him to. They cut off ties, and Caleb is hurt that his father betrayed him again.

Hanna is at Aria's house later and is afraid Caleb will never forgive her after finding out A set him up. Emily burst in and says they found another body and it's right where Spencer says it was. The man is in his late teens or early twenties. The girls are all worried this time that is Toby.

In A DAngerous GAme, he show opens with Hanna, Aria, and Emily in Spencer's kitchen. They discuss about the second body found in the woods being Toby, but the police have sent it to the state coroner's office so there may be hope. Spencer comes downstairs, seemingly hopeless, and invites them to a party on Friday that her parents are throwing to celebrate her release from Radley.

The four liars discuss a flyer in the hallway advertising a babysitting job for Malcolm. They speculate about the hooded figure who kidnapped him and claimed to be Alison. While the girls are quick to blame Mona, Spencer suggests that Mona wouldn't have taken Malcolm because it was too obvious; the A that took him seemingly wanted to be caught, but Aria says he is off-limits. When Aria walks away, Hanna takes the flyer with the intention of getting the babysitting gig. Shana approaches the girls and asks if they will be going to the swim meet.

Ezra hires Hanna for the babysitting job on a trial basis. Hanna babysits Malcolm and has him play "guess who" with photos on her phone. A photo pops up of Ali and Spencer that Hanna has never seen before, and Malcolm identifies Spencer as the "Alison" that took him to the puppet show.

Hanna was dressed in the coat as a way of testing to see if Spencer was really on the A-team. Spencer tells them how she joined, but Mona is the only one who knows who's in charge. She explains to them that the party is a setup and that she sent the photo of her and Ali to Hanna so she would find out. They're going to take advantage of the situation to try to find out who Red Coat is on Friday.

The girls get ready for the party the next day while a hooded figure records them. In the the lodge, Hanna, Aria, and Emily sneak up on Mona. Someone locks the building from the outside and sets the lodge on fire. In her panic, Mona reveals that she doesn't know who Red Coat is.

Later, we see someone in a red coat pulling the liars out of the burning lodge. Hanna looks up and it is Alison. As they are coming to, Mona runs over and asks if anyone else saw her, exclaiming that it was Alison that saved them from the fire. Emily and Aria are in disbelief because Alison is dead, but Spencer comes and confirms that Alison is who she saw in the woods. We see the four liars and Mona driving back to Rosewood. Mona explains that she was there the night the A-team stole "Ali's" remains, but she isn't the one who drugged Emily and she never saw Red Coat's face because she was wearing an Alison Mask, telling them that Red Coat wanted to join forces with her when she went to Radley and "took [the Liars] from her." They come upon Wilden's police car that Hanna and Aria previously pushed into a lake. The video recorder is playing the incident where Hanna's mom ran over Wilden, but this time they see that afterward, Jenna and Shana rushed over to his body and carried him away. They notice that something is strange with the trunk. Right then, the Liars and Mona all get a text from A - "You're mine now. Kisses -A" and the writing is in all red. They open the trunk and gasp in shock.
