Raria is the name for the romance and friendship pairing between Riley and Aria Montgomery. Aria met and hooked up with Riley while visiting her Dad in Syracuse in "Cover For Me".

Season 4[]
Aria pays her father a visit in Syracuse for four days and meets Riley off-camera. They spend the week together, and go to a fraternity party together as a couple where they drink and make out.
The next day, Aria calls Emily from Syracuse, but she doesn't tell her about Riley. He walks up to her and she compliments Riley's look and he makes a joke about her compliment. Aria shows him her pass for the campus tour which they will do together. Riley asks if she's ready for the tour and but she makes a joke about that question. A woman announces that the tour is going to start, but Riley proposes to Aria to miss the tour and go together to eat pancakes and Aria accepts.
The next day, Aria wakes up in their room when Riley is sitting on the floor playing the guitar. Aria tells him that the melody sounds good, and when he stops she asks him to keep playing. Riley tells her that he was just giving "Antonio" some air and Aria asks him if he gave his guitar a name. He tells her that he prefers to think that his guitar named itself, and asks Aria if she slept well. Aria says she still has a hangover, and Riley asks if she doesn't drink often. Aria says she doesn't, but mentions that this week was not very normal for her, and when Riley asks her why, she changes the subject.
She looks at the time and realizes that she and Riley missed the tour, but Riley downplays it. He asks Aria if she wasn't supposed to be with her father, and she explains that her father is right next door. Riley asks what her father teaches, and she explains that her father teaches Art History, and he asks her if she is interested in art, to which Aria replies that she is interested in writing, but does not know if she is going to keep liking.
Aria looks for a drink in the refrigerator of the room, but when she can't find it, she realizes that they don't have any more alcohol. Aria asks Riley how much money it would have cost to drink all that alcohol, and Riley replies that it would be about $200, and she jokingly tells Aria to tell her father that she was little thirsty and she invited a boy. Riley approaches her and they kiss.
Aria and Riley go to a stream but she walks away to take a call from her father. When she returns, Riley and Aria talk about her father and she mentions she will go to a vegetarian restaurant with him. Riley asks if the restaurant is "Jeremiah's", Aria nods and asks Riley how she knows so much about Syracuse, to which he replies that his family spent a lot of time there. Riley comments that he was accepted into "Berklee College of Music", Aria congratulates him but Riley tells her that his family thinks music is not the kind of thing to study. Riley asks Aria why she's in Syracuse, and Aria confesses that "some jerk broke her heart into 30,000 million pieces" and she needed time alone.
The next day, Riley walks into Aria's room to tell her that he will go back home, Aria asks if he will talk to his parents about Berklee and he tells her that he plans to do it. Riley thanks Aria for making his week better and they kiss. Aria asks Riley to find her if he goes back to Rosewood, and he tells her that he will. They both say goodbye and Riley leaves the room.
