Lindsey Shaw is an American singer and actress. She was a recurring guest star in Pretty Little Liars for all seven seasons.
Career[]
Shaw co-starred as Jennifer "Moze" Mosely on the Nickelodeon show Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide which debuted in 2004 and ended in 2007 after 3 seasons. She dated her co-star, Devon Werkheiser briefly, however later they had broken up. Months after the show ended Shaw's new series Aliens in America debuted on The CW. Shaw played the character Claire. Aliens in America was cancelled in its first season, lasting only 18 episodes.
Shaw starred as Kat Stratford in ABC Family's 10 Things I Hate About You, alongside Meaghan Jette Martin, who played Kat's younger sister Bianca. 10 Things premiered July 7, 2009 and ended May, 24 2010. The show lasted one season of 20 episodes, ending with a cliffhanger finale. She appeared on all 20 episodes. She briefly appeared in Nickelback's "Rockstar" music video.
Shaw was the 2010 Azalea Queen at the Azalea Festival in Wilmington, NC. She starred as Trip alongside Andy Serkis in Ninja Theory's videogame Enslaved: Odyssey to the West, released in October 2010.
In 2011 she became a recurring cast member on Pretty Little Liars as Paige McCullers, one of Emily's love interests. Also in 2011, Shaw appeared as Lisa in the ABC Family Original Movie Teen Spirit.
Lindsey recurred as Paige McCullers in Pretty Little Liars until Season 5, when she was written out of the show; Paige moved to California after her parents deemed Rosewood as unsafe. Lindsey reprised her role in the series final season. On her podcast in 2023, Lindsey alleged she was fired from the show because of the weight she lost from taking Adderall. Shay Mitchell allegedly noticed the weight loss and, since they went to the same nutritionist, brought Lindsey protein shakes, unaware that the issue stemmed from Lindsey's eating disorder and drug usage. Lindsey was allegedly called into I. Marlene King's office and told she was being let go. Marlene asked if she had anyone to talk too, and when Lindsey admitted she didn't, Marlene told her to find someone. Lindsey described the situation as having "so much care". They brought her back in Season 7 to finish the character off after Lindsey received the treatment she needed.[1]
