Miranda Rae Mayo is an American actress and singer-songwriter originally from Fresno, California. She portrayed Talia Sandoval in Season 5 of Freeform's hit-drama, "Pretty Little Liars".
Career[]
Miranda started acting at the age of eight. In High School, she would partake in the schools plays and productions. After graduating, she moved to Los Angeles where she started modeling. This went on until 2011, when she landed a guest-role on NBC's Law & Order: LA, and rediscovered her passion for acting.
In 2013, she had a recurring role as Reece Shebani on BET's popular series, The Game.
In 2014, she had a recurring role as Zoe Browning on Days of Our Lives.
In 2015, she booked a role on Showtime's Affair, where she filmed one episode before the producers decided to recast the role, as they didn't think she appear old enough to play the role. Her first major recurring role came after this when she was cast in ABC's murder-drama, Blood & Oil, as Lacey Briggs. In the same year, Miranda played Talia Sandoval on Freeform's "Pretty Little Liars".
In 2016, Miranda booked her first starring and main role on NBC's Chicago Fire as the newest firefighter-recruit, Stella Kidd. Due to this role, she often guest-stars and crossover with the shows spin-offs, Chicago Med and Chicago P.D.
