Pretty Little Wine Moms is a podcast hosted by Pretty Little Liars actresses, Lesley Fera (Veronica Hastings), Holly Marie Combs (Ella Montgomery), and Nia Peeples (Pam Fields). Each episode features a special guest from the series, varying from actresses to crew members. The wine moms rewatch the iconic series while discussing behind the scenes tidbits and drama - all while drinking cocktails, of course!
The series was officially canceled with all episodes, websites, and merch pulled from its respective platforms. During a Zoom call, Lesley Fera revealed that drama arose over the ownership of the podcast which caused an issue with contracts and other legal aspects of the podcast.

Conception[]
The idea to create the podcast was Lesley Fera's and came to her while she was stuck at home during the Covid-19 pandemic. At the time she was working on a podcast with her husband, Ned. She invited the Wine Moms onto their podcast and the response from fans was overwhelming. Then Ned spoke with his best friend, Heath Corson, who chatted about the success of rewatch-oriented podcasts. Ned shared the conversation with Lesley, who realized there wasn’t a rewatch podcast for PLL. Lesley, Holly Marie Combs, and Nia Peeples joined the podcast.
The Wine Moms Term[]
The term "Wine Moms" was coined by the Pretty Little Liars fandom after the Season 6 episode, "Last Dance". It was one of few episodes to feature all of the PLL moms in one room. The mothers became intoxicated after drinking wine and went to confront Kenneth DiLaurentis about the mysterious "Charles" when they were trapped in the DiLaurentis basement together. The series never directly revealed how the moms escaped the basement, leading to many fan theories and a popular explanation by the showrunner, I. Marlene King. After the episode, the fandom donned the moms the "PLL Wine Moms" and they were seen together now-and-again drinking wine.
According to Holly Marie Combs, the producers and writers forgot to tell the story of how the moms got out of the basement because they forgot the moms were there.[1]
