Jennifer "Jen" Fox[1] is a major supporting character in the television series, Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin on Max. She is portrayed by Ava Capri.
Noa’s former cell mate in juvenile detention who finds herself in summer school alongside the Little Liars. Once reunited, Jen pulls Noa into messy drama both personal and criminal.[2]
Biography[]
Jennifer was born near Millwood, Pennsylvania to separated parents. Her father is a wealthy pharmacist who makes and sells drugs illegally and her mother is a woman with drug problems.[3] She met Noa Olivar during the summer of 2022 in juvenile detention. After being released, Jen fails her keystone exams and must attend Millwood High summer school with the Little Liars in 2023.

Jen is a fearless, direct and dishonest girl who commits crimes without considering their consequences. However, many of Jen's lies and bad actions are to help her sick mother. Sometimes, Jen can be vulnerable, kind and sweet with Noa.
Physical Appearance[]
Jen is a teenager around 16 with a tall skinny build and straight bleach-blonde hair that is cut to chin-length. She has hooded blue eyes, a pointy nose, and thin lips. She wears minimal makeup and dresses in oversized jeans. She wears a chain necklace.

Season 2[]
On June 2nd, Jen arrives late to the first day of summer school at Millwood High School. She and Noa exchange glances of recognition. After class, Jen is in the bathroom washing up when Noa finds her, confirming they know each other. Jen was wondering if Noa was going to say hi or if this would be a "what happens in juvie stays in juvie" situation. She's there because she flunked her keystone exam and Millwood is the only school in a twenty-mile radius that offers a summer course. Noa sarcastically welcomes her to hell. Jen wants to hang out and get coffee so they can catch up. Noa awkwardly agrees. Jen asks for Noa's new number since she changed it. Noa is hesitant at first but gives it away.
Noa and Jen sit at the park as they catch up on their lives, including their shared disdain for community service. They have similar stories, including how both their moms relapsed. Jen is doing better now though it's still a daily struggle. Jen asks if she was part of the Millwood Massacre with the psycho in a mask. Noa tells it was all "crazy kinds of fucked up". Jen also asks if Noa is still seeing Shawn, and Noa confirms that he's around.
On June 3rd, Noa opens her locker to find a rose. She smiles at it until Jen walks by. She throws it into the locker instead. She goes to work at Pinball Pizza when the manager asks if he should hire Jennifer Fox for a position. Noa vouches for Jen by calling her cool.

Jen starts the next day, June 4th, cleaning tables with Noa. Shawn comes in to pick up his pizzas. Noa introduces Shawn to Jen, who is grateful for Noa who saved her in juvie. She loves Noa and Shawn is sure the sentiment is returned. Shawn and Noa have plans to meet up after Tabby's screening. They kiss before he leaves, though Jen watches them and then Noa.[1]
After her number leaks on Spookyspaghetti, Jen asks Noa if she gave her number to anyone. Jen denies it, even questioning why she would do that. Noa knows she wouldn't and drops the topic.
Benny calls Noa and Jen over and states there is 20 dollars short at the register and asks which one of them did it. Noa denies her part while Jen immediately goes on the defensive and questions why she would steal from her place of employment. Noa, upon counting the money again, states he miscounted. Benny promises to recount at the end of the day before they clock out.
Noa confronts Jen in the back alley of Pinball of Pizza. Jen thanks her for covering for her, but Noa reveals she slept a $20 out of her own money to make up for the difference. She demands to know what Jen is doing - Jen rants about the low wages and the shit tips and her difficulty with her mom right now. Noa understands but is going through her own shit with having to be on her own, and refuses to be dragged into Jen’s drama. She walks back inside, but not before stating Jen owes her $20.

The next day, Noa makes a point to give Jen the cold shoulder despite the latter’s nagging. She stops a group of Rosewood boys heading to the door, saying they forgot something. They realize she wants a tip, with a boy joking that he’s got more than a tip for her. Disgusted, she storms off. Noa confronts the boys and orders them to pay up - the same boy nervously hands her the cash and asks if he could at least get Jen’s digits, or Noa’s. Enraged, she holds up her middle fingers as a show of digits. She finds Jen huddled up against the wall and hands her the tip, renouncing the debt Jen owes her. Noa takes a seat next to her, and apologies for her outburst to her. She explains to Jen that she can’t go back to juvie. Jen understands, and as she leaves invites the former to Mouse’s party. Jen asks her if Shawn will be there - not answers it’s not his scene. She smiles in response.
That night, Jen herself makes an appearance at Mouse's Sweet Sixteen party to Noa’s glee, who takes her to get some skates. The girls bask in the fun at the roller rink. Faran, Kelly and Imogen take note of Noa and Jen skating around - Kelly remarking they seem close for girls who spent time together working and having been in juvie. Greg jokes they were probably lesbian lovers to their exasperation.[4]
A few days later, the phone rings at Pinball Pizza which scares Noa. Benny picks it up but there's no one on the other side. Noa tells him she needs a break and runs out back. Jen follows her and asks if she's okay. Noa can't deal with his bullshit today. Jen asks if she wants to skip the rest of their shift so Noa agrees. Jen offers her dad's place as somewhere to go. He has a pool and is away on business. They can go and no one will know they went.

Noa and Jen arrive at the mansion. Her dad is an asshole who left her and her mom when they needed her most. But he has a sweet pad now and she has the alarm code. They enter with Jen pulling Noa to the bar where they take shots and drink wine. They play pool, drink, laugh, have pillow fights, raid the closet, and play with the clothes. Noa eyes the watch collection and closes the case again. They sit in the hot tub while drinking liquor. Jen's father is loaded because he's in pharmaceuticals and sells the drugs people like their moms get addicted to. When they needed him the most he ditched. Noa is mad as he has a huge mansion but won't give her money for her mom's rehab. If he won't give her mom money they should take it. They decide to steal one of his Rolexes, clinking their glasses together.
The next day, Noa is working at Pinball Pizza when she gets an anonymous call. She answers and it's the police asking if she will accept the charges. Jen got arrested for stealing one of the Rolexes. Noa visits Shawn to ask for help in getting the two thousand dollars needed to bail Jen out.

Noa and Jen sit together on the floor of Noa's apartment. Jen apologizes for dragging her into her nightmare family drama. Noa tells her not to apologize. She feels terrible as it was her idea to take the watch. Jen feels all alone, but Noa assures her that she's not. They share a long look before Noa leans over and kisses Jen. The kiss turns into a make out.[3]
The next day, Noa is on her bed when Jen comes in, asking if things are okay. Noa admits they aren't and is tearful. She can't get into it, but she and her friends are dealing with some fucked up shit - again. She doesn't know what to do about it. Jen is supportive and pulls Noa into her arms. Noa kisses Jen's arm and closes her eyes for a moment. She then kisses Jen and they fall onto the bed. Noa takes off her shirt and continues kissing Jen.
Noa and Jen are in bed together when Shawn knocks on the front door, waking them up. She jogs out and he's waiting in the kitchen, having let himself in. He realizes she forgot about training for the July 4th marathon. She kisses him quickly as she's ready to go now. Jen comes out of the bedroom and Shawn greets her, asking how she slept. Jen coyly admits she didn't get much sleep last night. Noa ushers Shawn out of the apartment as she calls back to Jen that she'll see her at work.
During their shift at Pinball Pizza, Noa is cleaning tables when Jen asks if she's mad at her. Noa can't believe Jen came out of the bedroom that way. Jen claims she just wanted a coffee. Mrs. Noble storms in angrily demanding why her son gave Noa $2,000. He didn't have to tell her because she monitors his bank account. Noa claims money has been tight and Shawn helped her pay for her mom's rehab. Mrs. Noble is upset as Noa claimed her mom was out of rehab and wants to know the truth. Noa claims she relapsed. Mrs. Noble doesn't care what the money was for. The fact she asked a teenager to empty his bank account for her is highly inappropriate. Noa is insulted over the allegation, insisting it wasn't like that. Mrs. Noble tells her to make it right by paying him back. When she leaves, Jen goes over to Noa and tries to console her. She thinks breaking up with Shawn would clean the whole mess up as she'd be done with that entire family. This upsets Noa who asks what Jen is even talking about. She's not breaking up with Shawn. Jen asks what last night was then, if it was a mistake, but Noa isn't sure what it was. Jen takes off her apron. She's the reason Shawn gave her the money so she needs to come up with two grand to make things right. She storms out of the shop.

On Friday the 13th, Noa comes home to find Jen at the table ready to give her the two grand she owes Shawn. She's hoping this will help things go back to the way they were. Noa tosses the envelope on the table and starts talking when she notices a bouquet of roses on the table with her name on it - NOA. Jen figured they were from lover boy but didn't read the card. Noa reads it in a panic - "You've been walking the forbidden pAth. Go there now alone, or one of your beloveds dies." Noa flashes between her and Shawn and her and Jen. She turns to Jen telling her to leave, to get out. She's kicking her out right now. Jen stands up, emotional, asking if she's picking Shawn over her. Noa confirms that she already did because she slept with Shawn while Jen was away. Because when Noa had sex with Jen it didn't mean anything. It was a mistake and she loves Shawn, not her. It's over between them and she needs to get the hell out. Jen knows her and knows she doesn't mean this. Noa insists she does and that Jen doesn't know her at all. She yells at Jen to fucking leave, so the girl does. When she's gone, Noa breaks down in tears.
Noa endures her final girl test at the hands of Bloody Rose. She stumbles onto the street, waving down a car. It screeches to a halt and the passenger door opens, revealing Jen inside. She tells her to get in and Noa doesn't hesitate. The dog lunges at the door, barking and pawing at the window. Jen drives off as Bloody Rose watches while holding the dog by the collar.[5]
Noa soaks her feet in a basin while her friends surround her. Bloody Rose turned her dog loose on her and she had to run across a shit ton of thorny rose stubs. If she didn't go alone one of her loved ones would die. She wasn't thinking when she went, she just went. She escaped by running away, flagging down a car that was passing by, and thank God it was Jen. Jen rounds the corner with more water that she pours into the basin while Noa winces. Jen was on her way to the Friday the 13th marathon when she saw Noa running. Noa looks up and smiles at Jen. She worries Jen is in danger now that she knows. Jen dares that bitch to come after her because she's throwing hands on sight. Faran smiles because she likes her. Tabby wonders why Noa texted them to meet at Pinball Pizza instead of her apartment. Shawn is there and Noa doesn't want to tell him out of fear of putting him in danger. Her girls needed to know because Bloody Rose has attacked all of them except Imogen and Tabby. Mouse asks what they're going to do if they get contacted by Bloody Rose. Tabby remarks they have to do everything they can to survive. Imogen looks over at Jen and welcomes her to their nightmare.
Three days later, Noa struggles to put her feet into a pair of sneakers. Shawn asks how she's doing and she claims they're doing better, blaming her injuries on wearing shoes before breaking them in. Jen watches them from the kitchen table. He tells Noa not to push it and kisses her. She gives him an envelope of money, though he insists the girls don't have to pay him back. Jen presses that she does because he really came through for her in a big way that she appreciates. Shawn takes the money with a plan to deposit it before his run. He kisses Noa and leaves.
Noa goes through receipts at work when Jen confronts her about not speaking for a few hours. For starters, she knows Jen is feeling conflicted between her and Shawn. Jen doesn't think she should have to choose and offers a three-way relationship instead. Noa would be lying if she said she didn't have feelings for Jen - she does, and then some - but she has to hit pause on all of it. She can't make a decision right now on anything, let alone something as important as this. She gets a text from Mouse and asks Jen if they can table the conversation. Jen agrees and puts her hand on Noa's arm.

On Tuesday, Pride is in full effect at the Millwood Pool. People are dancing, swimming, and partying. Jen flirts with a girl at the poolside while Noa watches from a lawn chair. She surmises this is what "tabled" looks like.
The girls are in the pool where Noa is the only one not happy. She's watching Jen walk off with a girl when Faran remarks on Jen having a happy pride. Noa turns away as she can't take it anymore. She comes out to her friends as being more than friends with Jen in juvie, but together while she was still with Shawn. He has no idea and she hooked up with Jen recently. Faran can barely contain her laughter as she's been waiting for this. They laugh as they knew for a while that their vibes were crazy. Mouse is the only one in shock, but guesses she missed a lot at her birthday party while fighting for her life. Imogen gives her an air heart while Tabby promises to make it up to her. Tabby is happy to cross Jen's name off the suspect board. As for what she's going to do, Noa reveals that Jen proposed a throuple. It's not happening though. She told Jen they should take a break because of everything going on. Faran advises Noa to tell Shawn if she doesn't want to be with him. Shawn is amazing to Noa and she loves him, but at the end of the day, she wants to be with Jen. The girls are giddy and happy for their friend.
After learning from Shawn that the Noble's house was robbed and his mom blames Noa, Noa confronts Jen about robbing Shawn's house. Jen confesses that she did. Noa is mad because Mrs. Noble blames her now. The woman came in demanding two thousand dollars and was suddenly robbed for that exact amount. For a repeat offender she's not smart. Jen is upset that Noa didn't break up with Shawn and wipe the slate clean. She didn't want to share either. Jen's sick of trying to figure it out for her. Noa still wants time, just one more night.[6]
The next day, Jen and Noa talk at the apartment. Shawn is at his family's tonight as his mom is still shaken up about the break-in. Jen apologizes for breaking into his house, offering to leave if that's what Noa wants. That's not what she wants - she wants to be with Jen, despite her B&E. She's choosing Jen. The girls kiss happily and passionately. Noa wants to do it the right way by cleaning up their shit and ending her relationship with Shawn. She's tired of lying to him. Jen suggests they not tell Shawn about their affair as it might be one blow too many for him.
Noa does break up with Shawn and omits the affair. He pieces it together himself late one night, as he recalls Jen being there all the time. Noa comes home to find Jen crying at the table. Shawn came upset after learning the girls were together. He got pissed and was angry, yelling, cursing, and punched a hole in Noa's wall. She's angry at this and promises to make him regret it. She grabs a baseball bat from the closet and storms out.[7]
Jen and Noa have breakfast together as Noa catches her girlfriend up on what's been happening with Bloody Rose. Jen asks if they're only focusing on women suspects. They are, but haven't ruled out a team-up yet. Jen is just asking because of Tabby and Imogen's new boyfriends who showed up out of nowhere. After all, Christian makes horror masks.
After learning they failed their practice exams, Tabby lays down the law of them studying for real with their boyfriends and girlfriends. They might not be able to do anything about Bloody Rose or The Reckoning, but she'll be damned if they failed the exam again. All the girls are in, with Tabby asking Noa if Jen passed the exam. She hesitates before confirming. Mouse asks if something happened between them, but Noa dismisses the claim. She then cautiously brings up Christian and Johnny as a suspect. Imogen is offended that their boyfriends are on the board. Noa finds it hard to believe they both showed up at the same time. Tabby reminds her they're looking for a female figure of horror like Jen, for example. Noa reminds them that Jen saved her from Bloody Rose. Imogen reminds her that Johnny and Christian were at Skidamarink when Mouse was attacked. The girls argue over the possibility of their significant others working as a team. Noa's defense is that she and Jen have a history, though Faran chimes in that it's criminal history. The girls argue over their lovers being suspects before agreeing to check them all out.

Late that night during The Reckoning, Noa calls Jen, who is back at the apartment. She needs her to walk her through how to hotwire a car. Jen is happy to do it. The proxies leave the Orpheum while looking for the girls. Mouse sees them from the back window and checks in with Noa on the progress. She's having trouble, but Jen reminds her she can do this and just needs on good spark. The proxies spot the girls and rush to the car as the girls scream. Noa manages to start the car and speeds off as the proxies shout and chase after them.
Two weeks later, the PLLs prepare to retake their Keystone test. Jen led the charge since she aced her Keystone. The girls finally pass and are overjoyed.[8]

Noa Olivar - (Jenoa) The girls first met while serving time in a juvenile corrections facility together. They were cellmates and developed, at the least, a physical attraction to one another. Noa was dating Millwood High star athlete Shawn Noble at the time, so she kept the affair from him. The girls were separated for over a year when Noa was released on probation. They were reunited in the summer of 2023, after Jen joined the Millwood High keystone exam prep course, which Noa was forced to take for summer school. The girls rekindled their friendship and their affair, which lasted for weeks until Noa finally chose Jen over Shawn.

- In an interview with Cosmopolitan before the season premiere, Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa and Lindsay Calhoon Bring discussed Jennifer. In addition to being Noa's former cellmate, Jennifer and Noa spark a friendship and it is quickly understood they have deeper feelings for each other.[9]
