Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa is the chief executive officer of Archie Comics and an American playwright and screenwriters known for his work for Marvel Comics and for the television series Glee, Big Love, Riverdale, Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, and Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin with Lindsay Calhoon Bring.
Biography
Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa grew up in Washington, D.C., the son of a senior Nicaraguan World Bank official, then Nicaraguan Ambassador to the US (1997-2000), and later his country's Foreign Minister (2000-2002). He received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Georgetown University and later a Masters Degree in English literature from McGill University; he then graduated from the Yale School of Drama in 2003. He got his start by writing comic books when he wasn't playwriting.
