Sophina Brown is an American actress best known for her starring role as Nikki Betancourt on the CBS drama series Numb3rs. Brown plays Terry Beaumont on ABC Family's Ravenswood. She is married to Henry Simmons, who is also in the series.
Early Life[]
Brown was born September 18, 1976 in Saginaw, Michigan. Sophina Brown has a BFA in Theatre Performance from the University of Michigan.
Career[]
Right after graduating from college, Sophina got one of her first professional jobs in The National Tour of the hit musical Fame. Soon afterward, she made her Broadway debut in The Lion King. She has made numerous guest appearances on television series.
Brown had a starring role on the CBS drama series Numb3rs, wherein she played Nikki Betancourt, an "adrenaline junkie" and former LAPD officer.
