- The first scene starts on Friday morning after some very passionate love making with Katrina and Ezra the night before.*
Their bodies are so close that Kat could feel Ezra's heartbeat. She placed her hand gently on Ezra's chest. He was staring at the ceiling with one arm around her shoulders. Kat was on her side, facing him. She didn't mean to stay over; it just happened. She told her dad she was staying at April's house. They loved each other. They were one and the same. The only problem was that he was her teacher. This wasn't like Ezra (Mr. Fitz) seduced her. It was true love, through and through. Only her closest friends knew-April, Kayla, and Stephanie. Suddenly, Ezra's alarm clock went off. They had school today. Ezra rolled over to turn it off.
Kat: You know we don't have to go to school today. I can call in sick and you can call in for a sub.
Ezra threw on some pants, walked over and kissed Kat's forehead. Kat sat up, pulling the blankets with her because she didn't want to expose anything. Ezra smiled at her. Kat blushed. Being with him made her feel alive and free.
Ezra: You don't want to miss school. You'll have homework. You did great on your homework last night though.
Ezra winked at her. Her blush was growing, warming her face. Ezra walked into the bathroom of his apartment and she heard the shower turning on. She sat in bed for a while longer, smiling. Last night was their first time. It was also her first time ever. She was scared at first but he held her with such tenderness, the only thing she was feeling by then was pure love. She looked at the clock and saw she only had thirty minutes to get ready if she wanted to make it on time. She got out of bed and threw on her pajamas. She would have to swing by Kayla's house to get clothes later. She walked into the bathroom, tempted to jump in the shower with him but decided not to. She brushed her teeth and yanked a comb through her hair. After washing her face and then applying her makeup, she grabbed her things and left him a note "See you in class. I love you with all my heart". She set it on his kitchen counter and left.
After driving to Kayla's, she rang the doorbell and Kayla answered. She wasn't ready yet. Kayla looked at what Kat was wearing-her pajamas. She knew what had happened then and raised an eyebrow.
Kat: I need to borrow some clothes. Please.
This time, Kayla raised both of her eyebrows but she stepped aside, letting Kat in. Kat raced upstairs and walked into her closet. She was in the mood for animal print-she was feeling frisky. She grabbed a black camisole with a leapord print jacket. For the pants, she just chose blacked ripped leggings. Last, she chose bright red flats. Kayla was watching her from her bedroom doorway. After Kat got dressed, she turned around. Kayla gasped.
Kayla: Is that...a hickey??
Kat ran to Kayla's bathroom. She looked at her neck. She saw a huge hickey, the size of a baseball on her neck. How did she not see that before? She ran back to Kayla's room and found a red scarf. She put that around her neck and turned back around. Kayla never moved.
Kayla: You thought it would be a good idea to get...together with him on a Thursday night?
Kat: Yes, I did. I have to go and I see that you have to finish getting ready. Thank you for the clothes, I'll return them later.
Kat walked slowly down the stairs. She wanted her friends to be happy for her. She hoped Steph and April would be different. After she went down the last step, she heard Kayla call.
Kayla: You can keep the scarf!
Kat didn't respond. She walked out of her house and drove to her school. She couldn't wait to see him again.
